This lampard vs scholes is a difficult debate. Both players are vital in a team. One scores goals from midfield, and one helps in domination of opponents.

This is like comparing cabaye and nolan. Cabaye doesn't score as much as nolan but he is great at long range passing, controlling the game and is perfect for a pivot. While nolan at westham is at the right place at the right time to score some vital goals because of his great instincts.

Nolan is a low quality version of lamps and cabaye is a low quality version of scholes.

Fuck that word. Fuck the term "Double Pivot". Fuck it. Fuck it. Fuck it. I cringe everytime I read that term. Fuck that noise. FUCKFUJCKIJ FODH OFF

I do not like how suddenly everybody talk about 'pivot' or 'falsa nine' and the 'introvert winger'. I think, when every body still think Torres could be good, they all say 'no service' and 'want better service'. That was bad, also.

Too over-complicated an analysis as far as I'm concerned. Our system simply bypasses strikers. There is a reason both Ba and Torres went from being 25-to-30 goals per season strikers to being totally lame.

Ba is a 15-goal a season striker...and Torres, well he just doesn't have the consistency to be a top striker anymore.

I do not see him slowing down yet ,to me he is still amongst the fittest players in the league ,the well timed runs are still there and he recovers his position as well as anyone ,we should all enjoy Lamps for as long as possible because he is a special player and amongst the best in the world ,ever as a goalscoring midfielder ,still able to play in a more forward role in my opinion and he will slot into the playmaking role with his eyes closed when he slows down ,there is no substitute for class and Lamps is top class, the best Chelsea player I have ever seen .
