10%.

Numerous people wanted Lampard to leave when it was perceived he was getting in the way of AVB's 'project'. You only need to look at the AVB thread when he was sacked at the amount of people even going as far as stripping Lampard of his legend status, some even resorted to calling him scum.

Ack, if he leaves I'll have to splurge out on a Frank Lampard 8 shirt sooner rather than later. That'll do a bit of damage to the old wallet.

I really don't know about this. My head says it would be best for him to leave, but everything else says the opposite. I'm not going to use stats or whatever else people use to back up their statements, I'm simply going to state my opinion. The midfield looks a lot more stable and effiicient with him in there, it's almost if he gives purpose to those playing around him. He may not have the 60 games a seasons legs anymore but he has proven that he can punch in a few goals and assists reggardless of his age. Buuut he isn't going to be here forever and the minutes he gets could be better applied to someone with a 10+ year future here, someon like Oscar, McEachran or Chalobah. Lamps has at the most three season left in him before his done as a professional footballer but those three mentioned earlier all have almost 15 years left in their career.

Both choices have pros and cons and I just hope whoever is in charge of this situation makes the right decision. We'll never know which is the right decision but hopefully every will turn out for the best reggardless.

The only thing I can say is that the club survived without Zola...

82 Assist for Xavi ? No, he has more than 140 + and there is a video with all the assists, master of goals is Lampard, master of assists is Xavi.

That chance he wasted instead of passing to Ba summed it up. He is now putting his own glory before that of the team and it is costing us goals and games. He barely even played in midfield tonight and left gaping holes throughout the game because he wants to play like a striker and score goals. He left Ramires, one of the worst distributors of the ball in the league, alone several times. Lamapard is supposed to be our most experienced player but plays for himself more than anybody else in the team.

To be honest, that stats does not mean much when you consider pivot position.

It's more of how you dictate the tempo, your passing (not just assist), etc

The thing is next season we are going to get another midfielder to play that DPL role (I really hope so). if we get one probably lampard will still have role to play next season. If we get two then lampard role will become very limited.

Actually I'm a special one, because most brazilians dont have a clue about football, and even most people who like football dont know what they say. They believe Scolari is still a great coach.

This is unbelievable!

Did you actually just say you have a better Football IQ than everyone in your country?

You're like Kojo with Mikel. Basically, you clearly hate Lampard so much, that everything you say is about him is bullshit and nobody can take you seriously. I'm sick of your narrative of Lampard as a selfish jerk. Yes, the player with the second most assists in Premier League history cares only about himself. Lampard also found himself in good positions a few times where he passed instead of shooting. He tried a pass to Oscar when he probably should have shot. Hell, if he's as selfish as you say, he'd have taken dozens of shots, right? I mean, he touched the ball all the time and because he only cares about himself, he must have just shot every time, right? It's not like he cares about the team at all. It's all just Lampard, Lampard, Lampard. If you look closely, when he kisses the badge, it's just a picture of himself. It's like you don't watch the game. You just watch Lampard and look for something you can construe as selfish and then jump up and down with a perverse delight...

And no he shouldn't have passed to Ba. I hate this "he should have passed" stuff. When you are in front of goal, in the box and have a clear shot, you shoot. This isn't hockey when you have to pass the puck into the net. It was a terrible shot, but it was the right move. Hazard had the ball on his off foot in a worse position than Lampard. He should have passed too, right? Selfish prick. Only cares about himself. This happens every time someone shoots and misses and there was someone else (who they wanted to score) who was available. It happened all last year with Sturridge and Torres. It happened earlier this season with Mata shooting instead of passing to Torres. If you try to set players up for perfect shots every time, you will never score. When you are someone who can score goals and you are in a good position, you shoot.

He should have passed, or at least he should have scored. Period.
