Rekin 835
Van Dijk seems likely to go to a better club in the summer. I doubt Soton will sell him for anything else than crazy amounts in January. He seems like a no-brainer to go for though. Luiz, Azpilicueta and Van Dijk with rotation options in Christensen and Zouma would be extremely strong, maybe too much so. I would like to think that for Pedro we can finally look at a replacement who is only qualified based on his offensive capabilities. No more "can he track back?", we have wing backs who deal with most of that just fine, and it has worked so far. Rodriguez seems like a good option, as he is a bench player in Madrid, although the transfer ban might be an issue. Douglas Costa is also being a bench player in Bayern, could be another option. If we do not want to go for other clubs reserves though, it would also be cool to look externally/internally for a top class talent there. I would also be curious about Adama Traore, he seems to lack a footballing brain but maybe under the right coaching he could improve? Badelj is a really solid player for the CM backup/competition role. I think his main weakness is that he is rather slow, he could be truly world class otherwise. He is an excellent passer though, and as Matic is not exactly a sprinter (although he is faster than I initially thought) I think it would work. I think this is one of those transfers that would make perfect sense. Three class midfielders with different playstyles allow for more tactical options, and also ensures competition to keep the others on their toes. Alonso and Moses are solid, I like both and I would not look for replacement unless something truly great shows up. Either an amazing talent (I like the look of Grimaldo), or one of the best players in their position. I just dont think replacing them are priorities, we should look for internal options for depth. I would also like to utilize Conte's experience in Serie A to import some of their talents. If Conte doesnt rate Bats, and Abraham is considered an understudy for the next few years, then perhaps someone like Belotti would be an option? Either way, the right way forward is to make sure Conte is seriously included in the decision-making. Our new formation is working extremely well so far, and while it wont yield this kind of results forever, it is viable enough to invest into. We need to get players who fit the way we play, and not only based on their abilities. It has been a long time since I looked at Chelsea's starting eleven and thought "Wow, there is little weakness here", but if we can over the next two windows replace 2-3 players with better options, we could be there. Furthermore, I believe that we are title contenders provided that we increase the depth in January.

Furthermore, I believe that we are title contenders provided that we increase the depth in January. We do lack backups for certain positions and we need upgrades for a couple. Pedro/Willian spoot needs upgrading importantly. Since Eden came we have needed the right ballance and another area to creeate from. Neither Pedro or Willian have the ability to drive at players or get behind them. They just dnt have it. Pedro at last is showing some form and Willian is a great squad player but one needs to go. We need cover for both WBs. Bernardeschi seems to offer for both wings and looks like a great young lad.but right now we would be in the shite if either went down. I would maybe try Oscar as RWB. Hes a scrappy little Jack Russell who can run and good at upfield defence. So might do it?? Who else do we have? Yes Cahill has weoke up but because he has good players around him. I'd like us to have a fast strong outgoing dominant CB but with Happy and Christensen its going to be a difficult decision to make. We also need a fast version of Cescy who can get stuck in. We obviously will switch formations when needed and its important we have the options. Its difficult having Chalobah as I think hes good but hes not hetting the time and I'm not sure if like Bats it seems he has Contes trust. We could make a few quid on a good crearout. RLC/Oscar/Mikel/Iva/Pedro OR Willian unless they are happy to take the bench as backup to upgrade or Eden.
Thendo 1,088
Mahrez or someone similair would be great for the RW spot. Otherwise I can see us going for a CM since we'll probably only have Chalobah as backup if Fabregas/Oscar leaves in january. I think we've got good enough CB's especially with Zouma coming back soon and Christensen in the summer, might need some backup for the LWB spot though, bringing Kenedy or Ake back from loan could be a temporary solution. Rather recall some loanees for rotation roles or make some quality signings. The only player I want from Fiora is Federico Bernardeschi. Fernando 6,585
Games like today against Totenham is why I want to upgrade the team. Veratti for midfield, Alonso upgrade for LB. They are good for now, but not to rule Europe yet and that is what we want. Unionjack

blues.bridge 343
For pedro/Willian position: 1) The ideal would be Dybala for more reasons: technique, creativity and more, he would be The player Who Can improve more The team 2) Griezmann also would be ok, he is fast and a great goal scoring, With him our way To play would be Less creative than With dybala, but more incisive. 3) mahrez is cheaper and very Good! I would make everything for dybala, The youngest and the best
