A real shame that Luiz is suspended for this because we could have done with his pace and covering abilities at the back. His absence will also likely mean that Ivanovic will go to centre back with Bosingwa at right back and we look a lot less solid when that happens.

I just wonder if we will go back to our high line pressing game or if we will drop off like we did last night and try to hit them on the counter.

BIGGIE! Bout time we won a big prem game and it's about time City got a good beating. Think this will be very hard as they are looking like running away with the league this year but we do seem to score loads against England's number 1. Need to see what we have after yesterday, if we can keep up the level of performance. We have a lot of time to prepare for the game and 1 day more than City.

Hard to call, could go either way.

Meh, I see us wining 2-1. Sorry for being cocky but I bleed blue :)

As long as it's Royal blue and not Sky blue...blue%20scalf.gif

Was it just me or did AVB finally implement the Cover Defence system instead of the Usual High Line?

Man City have been playing the same way we did last night the whole season. Simply sitting back and counter attacking. With Luiz out, bring the lines in a little closer like last night, and see how it goes. They have to many lethal finshers for us to play high and allow them to get behind us. Dzeko, Silva, Aguero, Balotelli... Not worth it.

Hit them on the counter. They've got big strong, quick backs, but Sturridge and Ramires on the counter are quicker. They'll need to have damn good games if we want to win.

The key to our success will be our defense. If we can build a solid block Shitty won't have the opportunities to go past us, it's as simple as it's difficult. After that game against Valencia we don't have to fear anyone.
