ja1 1,166
Lukaku has said how he does not want to be recalled, it would be unfair to do so against the players wishes. Muzchap
MAF 162
It would be a waste of money to recall him now imho. Sure he could sit on the bench and get some minutes whenever the first striker needs to be rested, but he would stop developing again and wouldnt reach his potential in a few years.Unless offcourse they plan on giving him alot of starts, but that seems unlikely at his age...I'd rather have a really good striker next year or the year after then a decent substitute now. Henrique 9,133
time to bring him back and give him playing timeEven the player said the best thing for him is staying where he already is. ╫rue Blue, Kojo, Muzchap and 1 other
Hamilton 2,120
Indeed, he needs to stay there, probably could't handle the pressure at Cfc..
LDN Blue 7,903
Smart thing would be to let him stay at WBA. So Chelsea will probably recall him.... didierforever

Stats 7,142
Not sure how he got motm today. Apart from the goal which was a tap in he was awfulWhat? He was a handful and caused there defences all sorts of problems. I think you were watching a different game because you clearly did not watch the same match as most of us did The only place to be
didierforever 7,349
Not sure how he got motm today. Apart from the goal which was a tap in he was awfulwwwooohhh dude!!! he was wba's best player by a mile. i mean we keep crying over torres not getting any service from the mid but this match showed what not getting any service actually is. brunt was horrendous, fortune was awful, morrison had an off day, in the 1st half wba could not string 5 passes together. compare it to lukaku who won a lot of aerial challenges, was good at holding the ball, and add to that the second half display (in which he shoud have scored his 2nd goal in a 1 on 1 but screwed it up because of his right leg and 2 really good headers with nice movement and running in the channels) u get a fairly good performace (probably not MOTM because that should have been berba in my opinion). even when wba moved him to the left wing he was a serious danger and put in some really good crosses. robdog, Muzchap and Stats
bushman 2,043
Of course Lukaku was the best play today. Some of these guys are watching highlights only, I assume. The minutes he gets at WB Chelsea can offer him the same, easily. killer1257 and zolayes
Xtraxion 100
Berbatov was MOTM. Lukaku MOTM by goal.com.. He played well; not lucky hitting the post. The only thing that really annoys me is the fact he's complaining all the time. I hope that'll change while getting a bit older. His strength and pace is just awesome. The Skipper 20,609
time to bring him back and give him playing timeHe won't get as many minutes here as he would for WBA.
bushman 2,043
Bull....so far he got approx. 800 minutes at WB.Chelsea is playing plenty of games soon. FA, EL, PL, Carling. If Rafa sits that dimwit Ferda to rest, Lukaku can play more minutes at Chelsea, easily. zolayes
Stats 7,142
Berbatov got the overall man of the match primarily because Fulham won the game. I am sure if West Brom won the game, Lukaku would have been MOTM
Slam Dunk 1,442
Lukaku was given the Sponsor's MOTM, which will always go to a WBA player when they're at home. Well deserved though, the rest of the WBA team were awful first half, Lukaku was the only one looking to make something happen. As much as i'd rather have him back and playing backup to Torres from January, he wants to establish himself in the league, and in order to do so, must work his way up to being 1st choice striker at WBA. It's an easier route there than it would be at Chelsea. The only place to be

If Rafa sits that dimwit Ferda to rest, Lukaku can play more minutes at Chelsea, easily. That's the thing though, I'm almost certain Rafa wouldn't play Lukaku.Considering that, I think it would be best if he stayed at West Brom. He's getting a lot of playing time, playing well and scoring. And if he keeps scoring, he's going to get hungrier and hungrier to improve, which would be great for us when he finally does return. West Brom play with two strikers and like to rotate them about, it's not the same with us. I thoroughly believe he wouldn't get as many minutes if he came back here as he would at WBA for the rest of the season.

Rafa has specifically spoken about resting Torres, IF he was to come back he'd get a lot of minutes with the competitions we're in. Don't want him to come back yet though
OneMoSalah 8,886
Rafa has apparently told Torres to expect more time on the bench in the second half of the season as he looks to sign another striker or two. So yeah, he will end up benching the useless cunt hopefully and Lukaku coming back wouldn't be too bad an option either. Corner
