I feel that Everton don't have enough quality players in the center to hurt us bar Osman and Barkley (depending on how he plays). They will attack through the wings, from what I've seen they seem to prefer to play through the channels as opposed to wide areas. We can do two things I feel: 1) we can look to counter against them (typical Jose) 2) take control of the game and make them do all the hard work (which I'd prefer to see us do) Since we are away from home I'd expect to see us go and play on the counter which will suit us due to how high they get their fullbacks and that their wingers usually come inside making them very vulnerable in wide areas defensively. We should be looking to pick up all 3 points here though, no matter who they play or who we play.

Typical Martinez side, nice on the eye but will struggle defensively due to their full backs being so far up the park.

Everton compete at a high enough level for me, always pushing for the top 7 in the PL. Thats better than loaning him back to WBA who look like they will struggle this year. Beggars can't be choosers, we were desperate for a decent loan for him and we got one.

Reckon this guy will roll back the years under Jose. Jose got a lot of good and great performances out of Eto'o when he was at Inter, hoping he can do something similar with him again.

Who gives a fuck if Everton aren't in the Europa League. They have just sold Anichebe and lack a decent CF as Kone and Jelavic are both hit and miss. Lukaku will get minutes there and hopefully score 10+ goals again.

Eto'o has more than enough experience of various leagues, he wont need to adapt as much as other players. Basically though I am pinning our hopes on 32 year old (who you never know could surprise us) who would rather sell groundnuts in Cameroon than play for us....

I know how good Mata is but I'm just being honest here, Ozil is superb. What a signing for Arsenal. 42.5m pounds or whatever Wengers payed will more than likely be a very good investment. Just look at his performances for Germany in that World Cup and his first 2 seasons at Madrid. Sure last season he seemed a bit disinterested and lazy but things had gone sour there. I have not forgot how good Mata is, I'm just a bit jealous that Arsenal have signed Ozil. Hes incredible.

I can see Podolski and Mertesacker helping him settle in well, which is bad news for the PL because hes a top top player. If Wenger can get the best out of him then Arsenal could be very good. Giroud is picking up goals everywhere at the moment too so with Ozil playing behind him he could score lots more...

No way is Mata better than Ozil. Sorry but I think Ozil is better. Ozil is the best attacking midfield player I have seen emerge in the last 3 or 4 years or so. Mata is very good but Ozil is brilliant. When hes fully fit and up for a game hes immense. Didn't have the greatest season last year but still I think for the last 5 years hes averaged something like 15 assists per year.... which is incredible. When you take into mind that he was playing for Werder Bremen before Madrid who were really an average team when he was as well its an incredible stat. This is literally the best assist I have seen.. he shows so much awareness and technically its immense. I don't actually get why Madrid are selling him when Ozil is much better than Isco imo. I guess this Madrid lacking a lot of Spanish players is a major thing these days.

Indeed I would. Bale isn't as technically gifted as Hazard. Hes much more gifted physically but he lacks the technique that Hazard has.

Pmsl Madrid will have to pay at least triple that for Hazard then, because hes better than Bale.

Only way I'd sell Mata was if I knew we were getting someone like Ozil in to replace him... Ozil is an unbelievable talent, excellent technique sometimes looks unorthodox but hes amazing.

If Arsenal get Ozil and we sell Mata I will be annoyed
