Even though JT is our club captain I think AVB has to experiment and play Cahill and Ivanovic together as center backs with Luiz right back (possibly) and Cole left back. JT is a legend for Chelsea but he has been caught out a few times this season so possibly resting him more could see that back four I mentioned above flourish together but we'll never know. Cahill and JT have looked solid together for England as well so I'd be happy to see both pairings tried

AVB didn't make the right subs in my opinion, Essien should of came on but for Meireles. We were pushing for a second goal so why wasn't Sturridge or even Lukaku put on? How is Lukaku even going to get better if he is rotting on our bench? Bringing Malouda on as well.. for like 10 minutes is pointless or even bringing him on full stop is pointless. I'm always going to support the manager of this club but he didn't make the right tactical changes in my opinion

Played great today, just a pity he hit the bar with that overhead kick. The midfield didn't really help him in anyway the service was poor today

You mentioned that signing a player who would have an impact straight away would rule out De Bruyne.. realistically De Bruyne would be able to contribute a great deal to the first team if he played instantly. He is deadly from set pieces, can cross quite well, sees defense splitting passes and has great pace and trickery, so if we shift Mata to the midfield and play De Bruyne on the left wing, we will create more chances in the middle of the park due to Mata playing there and I reckon De Bruyne would be able to contribute a great deal on the left with his eye for goal and crossing.

This game will be one of the hardest this year, Sunderland have been excellent under O'Neill and I think they will set out to try capitalize on any weaknesses so we will have to play very well to beat them ! I hope Sturridge is fit and Ramires must play !

He isn't a kid or a prospect, he is 26. Still a good player but we wont get him since he only moved in the summer.

If Chelsea have to drop out of the champions league for a year to gel together young talented players, who are hungry for success. I wouldn't see the problem with that, we need players who are looking to establish themselves, not already established players who can bring instant success and then fade after a season. I know dropping out of the champions league may sound like a bad thing but if Roman has the patience and gives AVB time, the future will be very bright for Chelsea, with the likes of Chabolah, McEachran, Piazon, Feruz, Lukaku, Kane and others being fed into the first team, then we wont have to worry about buying English players or overpriced foreign players and we wouldn't need to worry about the FIFA finance rules coming into play..

Would be up for signing Lucas, he looks like he would need to stock up a bit to play in the premier league but he has got some pace. I would rather him over Neymar any day.

Cahill the obvious one, Hulk for maybe 30 million? he says he would work with AVB again and if a good offer for Porto and himself came in he would consider it, if not him, get Eden Hazard and sign De Bruyne for sure !
