Think this is one of best posts I've seen in this thread. Absolutely nailed it regards to the minutes comparison with Neymar and you can do it with so many other guys.
-
Oh come on don't give me that bullshit he had a breakout year under Ancelotti, signed a new deal and then it all went to fuck. Something went wrong, you can't say we didn't give him enough chances we loaned him out to Swansea where he didn't do much, Boro, Watford, Wigan and then Vitesse where other than the Boro loan he flopped hugely. He hardly played for Swansea, Wigan, Watford or Vitesse so something was wrong. Big contract too soon?
-
Glad hes gone, needs to get a grip of his career, shown that money and a little success can turn someone into something totally different. No other way to put it that that he blew his chance really badly.
-
Liverpool did nothing, it was him and his agent. He really is one of those typically modern day footballers. Although Carragher, Gerrard and Souness getting involved was always going to happen unfortunately as their Liverpool legends but also what they've said is true. If Sterling had tried that here I would happily see him sit on the bench or spend 2 yrs with the reserves until his contract ends. Nothing more cuntish than to be disrespectful to your club and manager to such a degree that half the fan base also have started to hate you.
-
Good to see us people on here saying its Cahill's fault we play like this or this happens since we are linked with another CB. I mean like Ramires and Mikel at times it seems he cannot exactly catch a break. For a 7M signing from Bolton hes exceeded expectations and become a really good player.... Otamendi had a good season, as did Valencia in general but I don't think he'd be much of an improvement on Cahill or Zouma.
-
If they do that it would be brilliant for their fans yeah, take him down a peg or two, think he has been a cunt over this whole transfer, if you want to leave there is a certain way to do so. Suarez for example, wanted to leave stayed another season then got his move. No point spitting the dummy out, even if he comes here won't be impressed with how he got his move. Like hes a good player etc but hes made an absolute cunt out of that whole club doing that, imagine if it were here?

No chance, its not worth us selling Remy and relying on Costa, Falcao (who could be just as shit as he was for United) and a guy who has never played in the PL. I'd rather we had Costa, Remy and Falcao than get rid of Remy and use Bamford. Bamford is not ready.
-
80-100M..... Juventus can keep him and he can fuck off if he wants 12m a year wages, hes not even worth that and will never be worth that sort of money or transfer fee. Definitely one of the most overrated footballers in the world right now.
-
Loaning Remy out is a stupid move. What if Falcao flops? Costa gets injured? Rely on Bamfod if he stays? Absolutely ridiculous. Remy is more than good enough to play here and his ability to play as a wide forward as well as a 9 is good for our squad. He scored some vital goals last year so hopefully he will stay.
-
Vitesse would of been perfect, really don't think he's at the level to be a regular here, he needs minutes and playing every week in the Dutch league, where their is an emphasis on technique and playing a specific way with the ball would of been good for him. Think we could regret this if he doesn't live up to a certain standard. 10 mins in games we are comfortable, cup ties against piss poor teams and U21s fixtures isn't going to challenge him or bring him on any further in his career.
-
Theres no doubt in my mind Jose has high hopes for Ruben but Marco is more experienced, further on in his development and probably would of been a better guy to have in the squad.
-
Wait why didn't we give them Loftus-Cheek on loan instead? Thats ridiculous actually, if they wanted him he'd easily play more there than here...
-
Well other players have been given more shots than him so I think its only fair considering he played maybe 5 or 6 games here before getting injured and going out on loan.
-
Loan move to Stoke in this Begovic deal is absolutely top class work on both sides I feel. Stoke just lost Nzonzi to Sevilla and Marco can go in there and step up as that player. Brilliant deal in terms of us getting a good number 2 and getting a very promising player a good team to play at. Gives him a platform and hopefully he'll fit in and play easily. Hes very good physically as well as technically so I think he should be a shoe in for them.
-
I think you misunderstood my point 2, Eden left because he had to make the next step. Sterling doesn't want to work under Rodgers anymore, apparently he'd stay if he wasn't in charge/.... was making a comparison as someone said Hazard came here only for the money or something, where in thery anybody with a brain could see that we would of been his best move as it was where he probably would of had an easier chance on starting from day 1.
-
Yes but Hazard didn't specifically join Chelsea because of 1) money and 2) he didn't want to work under whoever his manager at Lille was.... Sterling is just digging himself an early grave with the whole Brendan Rodgers is the issue thing.
-
I dont think hes world class, hes a very good player but not world class. Think that term is thrown around too loosely. I think Pedro would probably just be as good if a regular at another team that isn't Barca, in the same way Cesc has been for us. But lets be real if he was world class would Barca have sold him? Probably not. Not saying that goes for everything but do you think they would sel world class players...
-
Sanchez a world class superstar? He has only had three good seasons of note, his last one in Italy with Udinese, his last one with Barca and his first one at Arsenal. He was actually quite average a lot of the time at Barca to the point where Barca fans weren't quite always sure what to expect,
-
Okay Isco is harder to sign but Pedro is a good option, better than Sterling, as well as Willian, Cuadrado and Oscar so hardly like hes a step backwards. And Sterling wont be a superstar ha, cmon please I mean hes English, young and is talented but we've had this before English player X 'rated at 50m' or will be go on and be 'a big superstar'... yawn... Also look at the state of why he apparently wants to leave Liverpool man, he wants to leave because he doesn't want to play under Brendan Rodgers? The guy who picked him every week for the last 3 seasons.... backed him through all this shit that's recently come to light as well... where would he be without that guy? But the whole superstar/next big things talk, the same things were said about Jack Wilshere, Ross Barkley and also Harry Kane, managers and pundits saying that they are worth shit loads of money and are going to be superstars... but none of them are and I don't think any of them will be. Sterlings not even worth 30M never mind 50M. Foreign players are still cheaper and most of the time prove to be better buys. If he weren't English there wouldn't be so much fuss either.
-
A big time signing? Hes vastly overrated, specifically because hes English.... Would rather we spent 50M on Isco and Pedro than Sterling.
-
Wouldn't even say Begovic is better than Oblak or Moya either, or if he is it isn't by very much, both are certainly very good goalkeepers.... Agree with your point too, some goalkeepers as stupid as it sounds, go to clubs specifically to be number 2s and win trophies.
-
Or they don't want to pay too much for him because he doesn't warrant a hefty price tag... despite being on a long term contract... so tells us something doesn't it.
-
Great deal for them. Pardew is obviously the main reason why hes going there, hes bound to have other options for regular football.
-
AC Milan look as if they've made some half decent signings since last season. Diego Lopez, Menez, Suso, Poli, Honda, Cerci on loan and now Bacca, Luiz Adriano, Bertolacci.. building a half decent core to their squad. Still a long way to go though they need to keep a coach for more than a year.
-
The fact Juventus bid £12M or whatever for him says everything you need to know about how his Chelsea career has gone in terms of his development.
