Every goal you concede has issues/mistakes. For example the City goal: -No pressure on Silva at all, he is standing with about 10 yards of space, he lofts ball over to Milner who makes run, -Schurrle doesn't track Milner, who provides the assist, means Cahill has to come over and deal with ball, creating space for Lampard to run in to. -Terry doesn't get closer to Cahill to cover the space which Lampard runs in to when Cahill goes to close down Milner, -Ivanovic doesn't track Lampard's run. Goal. So to say he allowed Lampard to equalize is hardly fair when Schurrle could also be mentioned in 'allowing' Milner to provide the cross and Terry 'allowing' Lampard the space to run in to score. You might look at that and go yeah well that's nit picking but so is saying someone not tracking a run, which happens game in game out for every team in every game, is a huge crime. In these big games he will make numerous tackles, blocks, win so many aerial duels, complete so many crosses, not get dribbled by so many times but no these are never mentioned because after 87 or 88 minutes he will make a simple mistake any player would make. Also against Atletico, Hazard switches off doesn't follow Juanfran who provides the assist for Turan's goal.. but no Jose has a go at him for that and not working hard enough in defense and people jump on his back but still want to point the finger at Ivanovic because he didn't react a 10th of a second faster than Turan did to a cross which Schwartzer saved the header from? The guy is die hard Chelsea. People like Terry, Ivanovic, Matic, Fabergas, Hazard and Costa, players with character like theirs are what successful teams are built on. Young plays left wing, Di Maria for Argentina has played left wing, for Benfica too as well as Real Madrid when they played that 4-3-3/4-4-2 sort of formation in his last season where he kind of had two roles. Young and Mata are keeping him out of the team because he can play any wing so Weckerz is right to say so about Young. Di Maria just looks lost in the PL tbh.

Pure class? One of the few genuine world class players in the world? Have you watched him for Man United.. if hes not good enough to play for Man United then hes simply not worth it. He clearly was good at Madrid and for Argentina in the summer but his performances were probably over exaggerated mainly because they won the CL, being MOTM (despite the whole Real team playing piss poor until extra time because Atletico were tired and thought they'd basically won it) and that Argentina got to the WC final on the back of Messi and Mascherano playing very well more than anything. Wasn't even that impressed with him in the World Cup to be honest, was blatantly obvious he was a good player even when he was at Benfica but he was quite ordinary in some games for Argentina and even for Real Madrid and we're seeing it in the PL with United, which is a much more physical high tempo league where you have less time on the ball.

He could of been in the dressing room as a coach though, which would of made more sense considering how poor he's been in pretty much every game he's played. He's obviously kept in good shape but we can't play around a 37 year old CF, to his strengths, when we have classy players like Fabregas, Hazard, Matic, Costa... he doesn't suit this team as much as Remy or Costa. So that alone is not enough to refute my statement because hes been a pretty pointless signing in terms of performances.

Really we should rest Matic or Cesc for this game can't risk both of them being booked.
