He won't. I just don't get the whole hes a cunt thing for him being on the edge.
-
Aye the bloke only left us to join our direct title rivals 2 years after becoming the top goal scorer at the club, if you want a lesson in how to lose a bit of respect well that and the whole no loan with New York thing is a prime example of how to do so, I was seeing screen captures of their forums and some fans were saying they weren't keen on him going after the whole thing.
-
Against Real Madrid as well in the CL. Scored v QPR in that game the year they first won the title too, think it was the equalizer. Scores big goals.
-
Cantona kicked a fucking fan in the ribs but was a mighty fine footballer loved by many fans all over the world. Costa can do the same if he wants as long as he produces the goods in all honesty, we signed him to score goals and if he does that and wants to act cuntish on the pitch, won't complain. As long as hes not taking drugs like Mutu don't really care.
-
Vision is poor? Decision making poor? Mate give up. Oscar's biggest weakness is that hes a number 10 who struggles to create goal scoring opportunities.
-
Age shouldn't matter. You'd expect midfield players to take risks in trying to create chances for others to score or others to assist. He looked slightly tentative at times like I said, never criticized him apart from that and possibly positioning but thats really an experience thing.
-
They would of had him on a new contract if they offered it to him in the summer, he said it himself. I meant they are a small club because they are forced to sell their best players not because they don't need them like us with Mata, Luiz, Schurrle etc but because they don't win anything.
-
Liverpool are such a small club. Selling Torres, Mascherano, Alonso, Suarez and now Sterling in the last 5 or 6 years.... as well as failing to keep Gerrard.
-
Don't see the issue, hes a top top player, he also loves to get stuck in and is an absolute cunt to everybody who isn't a Chelsea player. Whats not to fucking love?
-
12m euros would be a very smart investment. Allows Jose to then sell one of Oscar, Ramires or Mikel if he really wants to. I think if we get him we can play 4-3-3 a lot more.
-
Looks very, err whats the word, tentative at times? Playing with the shackles on slightly. I know he can see the bigger picture from seeing him play in the u21s but again sometimes the thing that makes you stand out is sometimes the fact you take risks when you are say 10 v 11 or 3-0 down or when it doesn't look possible or whatever but he didn't.
-
Its not hard to constantly stand around one player for 90 minutes. Lets be honest. If that was difficult then how come Lampard did it against Gerrard too despite being several years older and probably not as well in physical shape or condition as Oscar is. Its nothing to do with vast footballing intelligence or versatility, its to do a job that any player could do, you do that job and you basically sacrifice your own game to do it. He could of asked Willian, Hazard, Lampard, Mikel, Ivanovic, Brian the Go Compare robot... anyone who is able to follow basic instructions. Its not like he was asked to man mark a great player like say Ronaldo like who Arda Turan was asked to mark or Messi who has whole teams playing so defensively to nullify him, is it? It was Gerrard and Pirlo, playing in the center of the pitch, in front of the center backs.... not players who can pop up basically anywhere in the opposition half and can score from virtually anywhere within 30 yards. Against Juventus it was a different story because he did stuff going forward but when he hasn't produced much recently its pretty ridiculous to say "he hasn't produced this or that recently but oh he can run about and mark mark a 37 year old man because he listened to the coaches instructions" because I am not a professional footballer but I can run about and stand on the toes of a 37 year old man if I was told to do so. It doesn't make him a more valuable or better footballer than Isco. Hes a 10, 10s are known for chances created, goals, assists, intelligence, technique, etc etc. Isco is a better footballer.

Yeah fair enough as long as us Scots win something! -
If he comes here he would be a huge success. He's been lazy at City this year because hes not pushed enough, not working under as demanding a coach as Jose or in a team where the quality is really high in his position. If hes not on song we can use Ramires in a 3 or play a 10 and drop him completely. Its not like at City where hes the top dog in MF, Fernandinho and Fernando can't touch him but Cesc and Matic are just as good, if not better. He is an all round footballer though, can play more advanced or play deeper as a 6 as well and like we've seen scores 10 goals plus a season from midfield. Imagine.... Courtois Ivanovic - Cahill - Terry - Azpi Toure - Matic - Cesc Willian - Costa - Hazard That team would win the league again next year.
-
Signing Dzeko and Toure for next season would be a brilliant move I feel. Two winners, top proven players, giving us more depth and quality while weakening a potential title challenger. Why not?
-
Injury prone? Cmon this is the guy saying Oscar is better than Isco saying this... take it with a pinch of salt.
-
He wont this year, or the year after but if he does say 2 years on loan at a top Dutch team like an Ajax/PSV or a German team like Leverkusen or someone along that lines.
-
How not? If he stays in Holland at a team like a PSV, Ajax or Twente and has a very very productive year like Depay he could be good enough? Suarez came straight from Ajax was a regular at Liverpool. Depay will be the same at United. Always a chance he could do. Holland isn't the same intensity but the technical side of football is at a high level in Holland.
-
If Oscar is more versatile than Isco then I am the pope. Isco has played basically every midfield position for Madrid this year, next to Kroos/Modric, on the right, on the left, as a 10... being good at set pieces and being good in the air as a number 10 isn't as essential as creating chances and scoring goals. You also forgot Isco is usually a sub when everyone is fit for Real....
-
Yeah I'd agree with that, another year in Holland would do him very well. If he develops at a similar rate to Depay then who knows another 2 years and he could very much be a regular here?
-
I think Juve don't necessarily need to spend huge, they are the most attractive club in Italy due to their history for a start, constantly winning the league the last 4 or 5 years as well as having their own stadium and more finances than other Italian clubs, they will always effectively have first dibs on the top talent in Italy if they really want it and despite the Italian league not being what it was, there are a lot of very talented young players there. Dybala will probably go to Juve if hes smart, as well as the fact they have u21 players like Berardi (aged 20, nearly scored 40 goals in 100 games), Kingsley Coman and Stefano Sturaro (22 but still young) who are talented as well. Don't necessarily think they will ever be a top top club again in the near future but I backed them to go through against Real Madrid in the first leg because they have got a really really good team with experience and youth too. They've always had that about them, good experience but a few guys breaking through like Pogba, Morata, Sturaro, Coman.

Can't wait for this to open up though, people will be posting they should get nominated for this this and that and whatever like really seriously, the usual shit, where as I will just sit and watch it all kick off when the shit storm starts. -
Great choice for him obviously, makes sense, average talent, 22 years old, obviously can become a lot better but won't happen here.
-
Lol he is nothing in comparison to Matic and I still firmly believe Cesc is a world class MF player.

No it isn't. Power? Why have power when you can have power and vast creativity in players like Matic and Cesc?
