That penalty fight is the most embarrassing shit I've ever seen. Bench Noni and Jackson a couple games 2 clowns.

You are right:
Kudos, Noni! Good luck on your loan.

The injury pattern and the way he was after the injury really resembles a bucket-handle meniscus tear. Hopefully a fast recovery!

MetsajCFC got a reaction from Vesper in Chelsea 1-1 Liverpool
What's the negativity all about? Tons of debutants (infact January buys can be regarded as 'veterans' looking at the team sheet), young (we've got the youngest squad in the league, correct me if I'm wrong) hungry players giving the team their all and on top of it totally acceptable result aswell. Tons of positives. The crowd was amazing aswell.

Caicedo had one decent season - no way is he worth £111million.
Let the Bin Dippers have him.
I'm happy to 'eat my words'
A 20+ goal season Harry Kane has gone for less than a 1 year wonder...
It's stupid.

MetsajCFC reacted to Thor in Chelsea Transfers
The amount of times we've missed out on a player and people have acted like our season is done... It just keeps happening, and we come back and win titles.
Caceido wasn't on most peoples radar here even at the end of the season. Now he is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
110 million and you guys are complaining we didn't get him... Our team will be fine. Maybe we go back with another bid, but I'm fine if we don't. Either way - both him and Rice are massive overpays. Massive. Jude went for 115. Kane for 100. Better players than Caceido for less.
You don't just bend over backwards in business. They wanted 100m at the start and we didn't pay it? Good. He wasn't worth it then, he isn't worth it now. If we end up paying more - whatever - its too much but we live and fight another day either way.

He is not worth 127 million euros, easy as that. Move on.
Aside from great PR, we're looking at a very talented, promising player who has played just 1 season in a competetive league. I'm sure he is a great player but at the moment half of the fee is the PL/media hype. It's a big gamble for any club willing to part with that sum of money for one player. Get this wrong and the club is financially crippled for seasons to come. We're in a position where we do not need to panic buy - no european football, just the league and FA/league cup.
Bring in alternatives and exploit the market for any other oppurtunity that might rise (getting rid of unwanted players for great fees - Lukaku to Spurs?).

Lavia and Kudus I reckon is the next options.

Can someone freeze me in a block of ice and wake me up in 2026 so I get the results of all the talent farming?

We've just gone and scored 10 goals in 3 games. We couldn't do that for love or money last season.

I'd rather wait and take the short term pain than just buy anyone. Eventually a good fit will fall into our lap.
After seeing the end result of Lukaku and Auba I find it incredible how many people seem happy for us to just go for anyone at a certain age with a decent enough goal record.

Then why not use him..
I mean, Courtois came in the Genk squad at 16 by accident and never left the goal. I understand it’s one of a kind thing to happen, but how old is Slonina? 22? Just use him, give him a chance..
Even experienced goalies make big mistakes.

An earthquake hit my hometown in early February, and I'm just glad that I survived. There are much more important things in life than football.

You wanted time for a permanent manager to be instated - so give it time.
Getting Lamps in to motivate in the time being and light a fire is the best thing for now.

MetsajCFC reacted to Thor in The Next Manager?
I actually like this for the rest of the season.
The players need someone who will explain to them how privileged they are to play here and what it means to be a Chelsea player.
Our players don't lack skill. They lack heart and grit. Getting a legend in to tell you that you're a spoilt sack of shit and playing like one might be what lights a fire.

I do not get the logic behind this timing of events. Sacking him now and replacing him with an interim low profile manager till the end of the season, when we have realistically nothing to play for anymore, does not make sense. I'm sorry to say, getting past Real Madrid and Bayern Münich/Manchester City with this mentality and form the players are showing, is unrealistic, regardless of the manager in charge. Getting top four is not realistic either anymore given the games we've got left.
There were two options - he should have been sacked 2 months ago or given till the end of the season so the new manager in charge would get a fair introduction. Bizzare!

MetsajCFC reacted to Pizy in Chelsea 0-2 Aston Villa
All international break to prepare for the mighty Aston Villa and we look like this. With hundreds of millions of pounds worth of talent at his fingertips.
We are BY FAR the biggest underachievers in Europe. You give any top coach this squad and they’d be over the moon. They’d kill for this squad. But we decided to appoint an amateur to drive a F1 car.
Bite the bullet, pay the massive fee to sack him, and admit you fucked up. This cannot continue.

MetsajCFC reacted to Vesper in Chelsea Transfers
Malo Gusto has completed a permanent move to Chelsea from Lyon.
The exciting 19-year-old right-back has signed a contract at Stamford Bridge to summer 2030 and heads back to France for the remainder of the current campaign to continue with Lyon in Ligue 1, where he has made 15 league appearances.
Gusto, who has been capped at Under-21 level by France, progressed through the youth ranks at Lyon and made his senior debut in January 2021.
The following season was a breakthrough for the attack-minded full-back, becoming a regular for Lyon both domestically and in Europe. He registered four assists in 30 Ligue 1 appearances, while also helping his side reach the quarter-finals of the Europa League.
That fine form has continued this campaign under the stewardship of Laurent Blanc, with Gusto a key part of the OL backline as they sit in 8th place in the French top flight.
The defender will now continue his impressive progress on loan at the Groupama Stadium before joining up with the Blues in the summer ahead of the new campaign.
Chelsea would like to thank Lyon for enabling Malo to take up this new opportunity.
Welcome to Stamford Bridge, Malo!
