Apparently the VAR official thought that the goal was ALLOWED by the on-field referee, and told them to get on with the game. Hence why they didn't bother to correct the incorrect offside ruling
Can't make this up. Every time they pull something new out of their arse.
At this point I'm inclined to believe that the PL actually endorses their fuckups just so that the league becomes more 'entertaining'
 
 

Poch is right and I like his approach here. When you play at Chelsea and you're injured, make sure you're not filmed in a nightclub. It's that easy.

Probably a bit early for the "I told you so" kind of posts. We're about a third into the season and the outlook can quickly change in a matter of weeks. This time last year we were joint top of the league, but after a horrible run of form during the festive period and early 2021 it looked like our season was pretty much done. I agree that Saul is unlikely to turn things around and Bettinelli is just a worst case scenario backup, but jury is still out on Lukaku.

I dont think he was MOTM or anything, but very pleased with Kepa. Noticed his game is evolving. Several times he came out for shots that in the past he would have been rooted to the goal line waiting for.

Jorginho starts more games than Kante, because of Tuchel managing Kante's fitness. Jorginho can start more games without him suffering an injury compared to Kante. Tuchel stated many times that Kante is the heartbeat of this team, and if you really think that Jorginho is more important for our system then you're mad. 
The gegenpressing system we play is literally made for Kante, no matter who we play against whether it be a lowblock team or a high pressing team. Either Kante makes us win the ball back or he ensures that we do not lose the ball at all.

Let's be realistic. That wasn't great awareness. It was a blindingly obvious pass that we all saw before the ball even reached Mason and I'm sure he was knew it was on at least as quickly as we did. Credit where it's due but let's not over egg it.

A yikes performance today, he is so frustrating and I’m concerned he will just be more favoured as a work horse, rather than for meaningful end product.
