Nice is negotiating for David Datro Fofana, and Toulouse are also interested. Chelsea are demanding a one-off transfer. Both Nice and Toulouse are trying to find a financial solution. Nice has instead raised the idea of a loan with an option to buy. Toulouse can afford a transfer fee estimated between €4m and €5m, but are being held back by the player’s salary demands. (@lequipe)

I would say Guehi is by far the best option even remotely possible (unless we taken another risk on recently injury prone players like Scalvini)

Maresca has said in the past of the importance of a lefty at CB in his team for balance. I reckon this is because of when Cucu is moving around the LCB is playing on the edge of the back line. With LW/RW cutting inside on their inside foot it could be argued that lefties should play right side and righties play left side in defense but that's probably an whole debate in itself.
