I guess man got tired of waiting for Liverpool. Great deal.

Also, it seems like we are really in good situation with money, I guess a lot of clubs will try to sell their players because they need money after corona crisis. We don't, we are stacked.

Funny because he got tired of Bayern last season too, so that is why he signed a new contract at Leipzig

Wasn't there some sort of agreement between Werner and Bayern last summer but Bayern did not follow through with their interest, which made Werner mad and decide to ignore them completely?

I think that Werner wanted the Bayern move but Bayern's Rummenigge was not convinced that he is good enough. That were the rumours.

Hasan Salihamidzic said that Bayern were not convinced that Werner can play in a team, where he does not have much space, so he can't utilize his speed. Lewy for instance can play in tight spaces. This is what he said this year. So basically they were negotiating, but Bayern did not go all in just like they did with Ziyech. Both Ziyech and Werner got mad and signed new contracts

Deal agreed in principle is a long way from signed & sealed.  Chelsea have had good negotiations with Leipzig and have come to an agreement.  There has been no contact with Werner or His reps and the player supposedly favours a move to Liverpool who have unsettled the player but are unsure about the financial outlay.   Bayern also hold an interest but are not keen at the prices required.

Chelsea have made an offer and done things properly but the ball remains firmly in Werner & Liverpool's court.

I hope not but I see this going the way of Chamberlain.

This one appears to have a long way to run.

It is opposite actually. Reports said even Frank spoke with Timo. He has release clause so we do not even need to negotiate with Leipzig.

Timo Werner is ready to sign his contract as new Chelsea player until June 2025 on next days - paperworks time. Liverpool have not sent any official bid to hijack the move. Chelsea will pay €55M to RB Leipzig. Timo has already spoken directly with Frank Lampard.

Guardiola ‘knows’ player will sign for Liverpool or Chelsea – Man City pushed out of the race

http://sportwitness.co.uk/guardiola-knows-player-will-sign-liverpool-chelsea-man-city-pushed-race/

This is 3,4 days old.

Fred, Jorginho, Alexis, VVD and now Werner. All players who choose other English clubs over Shitty.

If we sign him for that price it would be fantastic deal. I hope it works for us because he is a counter attacking machine and hopefuly we will be able to break down buses too.

Also this likely means we wont pursue Sancho.

Love it. Every time a player snubs them, every Bayern fan goes out of their way to state they never where interested even for players like KDB. It’s hilarious
