Seems now it's almost certain that he'll go on loan which is very puzzling considering we'd be left with only Morata and Giroud when we could play 60 games this season. If Morata gets injured early we'd have to ride a slow 32 year old Giroud as our main striker? In a Sarri system?

I dread having to see us use Hazard or Pedro as the striker again.

Unless it means that Fekir or Martial are coming in.

Possibly.  That seems the least likely though, and I don't think we're going to get Martial or Fekir either.

False 9 worked when we actually had plans to attack.

Can't really remember a match where we really looked good playing false 9..

Bournemouth, Leicester, Qarabag, Huddersfield off the top of my head, i think we won the first 6/7 averaging 3 goals a game and the movement and interchange was really good and fluid. It was after Conte decided toplay shit footy it looked rancid and even then it had it's moments (Barca and even Arsenal before Willy was forced off).

Hes the best finisher in the squad and best suited to our system

sarri likes Higuqin?

Bats is basically a less experienced but much fitter version of Higuain

Sarri likes Morata and his misses.

We've got 3 weeks before the other transfer windows end haven't we? Surely give him a chance until then to allow Sarri to assess what he's all about. It also gives us a couple of games early on in the season to see whether Morata picks up at all or just remains terrible because it would be suicidal to be relying predominantly on him all season if he continues to fail.

Twitter report - Looks as though Chelsea and Valencia have reached a loan agreement for Bats.

Seems like a mistake for me, Sarri must really rate Tammy.

Bats is NOT even remotely close to Higuain (who I didn't want to sign anyway as he is too old soon). Higuain is also massively fit after a big summer fitness routine. Have you seen the new videos and pics of him?
