Well Europa is a pretty decent trophy, we can't deny that. It  gets United back into Champions league, and gives them money(how much money do United get?) also now that United have CL they will also be able to attract the players they want. This summer City, United and us all will be competing to get good players. It will be really interesting. I just hope that we don't cheap out and get the players Conte wants to sign so that we can properly compete in all the competitions. 

Next season will be very interesting and competitive if United, City and us get kind of players the managers want.

Seriously if the board fuck Conte over again I hope he resigns like he left Juventus.

Funny how he makes a cup that would have been a disgrace for him not to win looking at the opponents they faced in the later rounds into the greatest accomplishment of his career. He looks like a complete lunatic on the celebration pictures (especially since what happened in Manchester this week). He could have easily gone out against a mediocre Belgian team in the quarter finals given some bad luck.

To call the Charity Shield a trophy is stretching credibility a bit. It's a pre season friendly nothing more nothing less. We went on a far east tour in 2003 or 4 can't remember but we won it that's on par with the Charity Shield. Hands up who remembers or for that matter cares when we lost to City at Villa Park in 2012 ?.

Tbf Mourinho has always included community shields in his trophy count, it's just his way of inflating his ego. It's okay to win it, why not, but to brag about a treble that is barely a double is just hilarious.  Their season has been a failure, he's trying to switch the narrative to it having been a successful one. Our EPL win alone overshadows their "treble", and if we get the FA Cup then that is a real double with 50x more credibility than their cute little treble.

Normally win 3 trophys is a great archievement, but, in this case, I simply can't think that is a good thing. Look at the trophys: carling cup, comunnity shield and europa league. If was club like Everton, Southampton, etc, it was a great archievement, but not a club that won what they won. 

But from what I see in this game, Mourinho didn't change. Score a goal, defence and produce nothing in terms of offensivy attack. Same shit that the 2ª passage in Chelsea.

Muh, the Europa League is a cool trophy anyone would want to win as soon as they're playing that league. But looking at the opposition they faced, they always had to win this one. Not a single 'top' team crossed their path, not even Tottenham or Zenith or Roma or whatever...

Well giving the crap season that United had, winning the EL gives them a free pass as they go into the CL. 

But if they don't take advantage and have a similar season in the next one, then things will be bad for them.

In that case 09-10 we won the treble :-D and 2 of those were decent trophies to win! Just never made a huge fuss as even though it's a trophy it's still a friendly with a result!
