hunaz10 21
heard that Chelsea will not be granted their wish as The American Embassy which is planned to be built a mile away from Battersea thinks it is UNSAFE for the embassy to have 50000 fans walking past it every weekf***ing yanks go to your own country...! oh shit I just forgot that that you ugly fat gypsies do not have a country for urselves
capriccioso 2,545
With the idea that a poster had a few pages back of putting statues on the pillars of our legendary players; now that we only have two pillars, it should be Osgood and Drogba. Zola, Lamps et al, despite being brilliant for us are not in the same bracket as those two, who will always be the Kings of Chelsea Football Club. Slam Dunk 1,442
Statues on top of the chimney stacks? They're over 100m in the air, how are you going to see a statue? They're an iconic part of London's skyline, they won't be changed.

We Hate Scouse 10,327
Isn't it the towers that are listed? If so that means we can't change them doesn't it, so we wouldn't be allowed anyway.

If so that means we can't change them doesn't it, so we wouldn't be allowed anyway.Technically speaking I believe they are but.... they are about a decade past their service life and need to be rebuilt as there are reports they are on the verge of falling down hence the scaffold around one of them, so even as a listed part they need to be pulled down and rebuilt. Slam Dunk 1,442
Yeah the stacks will have to be rebuilt, but back to the original size/dimensions using approved materials etc. So they will look the same, just safer
xPetrCechx 13,573
I can see the Trophies if i will visit SB?
Slam Dunk 1,442
Yes, you will be able to see the trophy cabinet if you visit the stadium/museum or do the tour. I would imagine you'd be able to have a picture taken with the CL trophy over the summer as well when it's back at the bridge (for a fee of course haha). BlueLion. 21,491
I've always wanted Chelsea to have an industrial-looking, early 20th Century stadium. This one would not be that, it would be the industrial stadium.
Blue Traveler 256
55000 no good! We should go for above 80000!
Term-X 7,891
Maximum capacity at The Emirates is 60,361...We should make the new stadium 60,362. xPetrCechx
Leif 6,006
Any updates on if we're making progress in the new stadium department? I'm really excited. I don't care how the stadium looks. I simply want lower ticket prices, and more people attending.I know a lot of new fans won't know this, but we used to have some of the greatest support EVER.Just look at this - I hope someone who was attending that game is on this forum somewhere! I'm not aware of British law so there'll probably be restrictions on that; but if they exchange one share in Battersea for one share of the Bridge, I think CPO members would be more accepting towards the move. Kostas 1,468
The club wouldn't like that. In terms of real estate the new stadium would be too big and would grand too much power to be simply traded for the Bridge.
