The guy literally had no managerial experience before he took the Arsenal job but was deemed to be like a WOW candidate just because he worked as a coach under Guardiola. Arsenal have been a mess for ages for now - long before Wenger and Emery were gone - but he took the job anyway. What's more is that he has a lot of say at the club such as getting a lot of, if not the full say in how he wants to be build the squad and the way he has gone about it has been bewildering to say the least. One minute he's looking for experienced players like Willian and Aubameyang and the next he's leaning more towards younger players and there's the sudden obsession with No.10s, like the old Wenger days. Since Arteta's been at Arsenal, he's bought players like Mari, Soares, Willian, Gabriel, Runarsson, Partey, Ceballos, Odegaard, Tavares, Lokonga, White etc. Out of those names, Partey is arguably the only good player as the rest wouldn't even get anywhere near a top side. Arteta has had 4 transfer windows, including this summer, and it's hard to know exactly what kind of squad, what kind of direction he actually wants to take Arsenal towards to.

Honestly, it is about fucking time we beat them competitively. We need to take advantage of the negative atmosphere at the club and not reinstall confidence in them, which we make a habit of when playing them. Put them to the sword and finish them. Delighted Lukaku will be ready for this. He will raring to go and if he gets chances against that defence, he will be having a field day hopefully.

Actually delusional or concerned about his ambassador pay packet. Or both. As bad as Spurs former players and aligned pundits, shocking and worrying fantasy about their clubs.

Anyway, if hope Arteta doesn’t change a thing, keep Tierney going down the left flank like he’s a striker, not knocking him he’s a decent player, but Tuchel will eat their formation and tactics alive, if things stay as they were tonight.
