Bigtime football is starting to eat itself. So much negativity about so much in and around the game now.

Just because its been a huge sport for a 100 years doesn't mean it's popularity can't collapse. Its already done so in a once major country like Italy.

As I've said elsewhere, the younger generation in America are turning away from sports in their droves and TV ratings have plummeted to dire levels.

People running the game need to get a grip before spectators just say enough is enough and walk away.

United have spent loads mate since Ferguson retired, yes the glazers are like leeches, they have huge debt but they have also spent alot of cash in those 8 years. The highest salaries too if im not mistaken, or at least it was so 2 years ago or there abouts.
