Works both ways. The point is that no team should be throwing away a 3-goal lead at this level and the other one they got fucked by the referee because IIRC, it shouldn't have been a penalty. That's football. Liverpool could also be well ahead had VAR been used properly in both the Merseyside Derby and Brighton. Who knows where we would be had Mendy, Chilwell, Silva, Pulisic and Ziyech were fit and ready day 1. The fact the media are treating Spurs as some kind of run away title challenging team (when in reality they are one good opposition defence away from Kane and Son being passengers) despite only being 2 points ahead of us and level with Liverpool is strange.
