A. Johnson: Contracted to 2016, should be on about 70k.

Adebayor: Contracted to 2014, should be on 150k, at least.

Dzeko: Contracted to 2015, should be on 140k.

Santa Cruz: Contracted to 2013, should be on 90k.

Kolarov: Contracted to 2015, should be on 90k.

M. Johnson: Contracted to 2013, should be on 60k.

Barry: Contracted to 2014, should be on 130k.

Milner: Contracted to 2015, should be on 100k.

That's 830,000 pounds a week they're bleeding for players who aren't first teamers, aren't really needed.

Lets bid for Dzeko/Adebayor as a back up striker then ;) Maybe Adam Johnson too. Offer them as much money as they want for Silva and Aguero too... oh I love Aguero  gutted hes at City.

We could bring in Adebayor on loan... he'd be a great, physical alternative to Torres.

thats what ryan said aswell, haha, i think he would agree because he cant come here with an ego, basically it depends with his ego. if he expects alot then he can fuck off, if he comes across as humble and wanting to just play then yeah why not? low risk high reward.

Can't help but be impressed by this description of MU's owners.

The Glazers have always acted as committed profit maximizers. In Tampa, they often failed to spend even the minimum mandated by the NFL salary cap. At United, they spend 46 percent of revenue on salaries. Unlike Henry and Werner, the Glazer family does not appear to care what Chelsea or Manchester City are doing or what the fans think.

For that, the rest of the league should be grateful. Under the Glazers' United, revenue has more than doubled. It dwarfs that of every other club in the Premier League. If they were willing to spend on players at the average Premier League level, it really wouldn't matter what their billionaire rivals did. By competing with one hand tied behind their back, the Glazers have made the Premier League a slightly fairer place.

Basically the Glazers act as a de facto salary cap for United.

As much success as MU had achieved during the Glazers ownership, MU would've won more, (6 PL titles instead of 4, 1 more European Cup?) But because of the debt they've saddled plus the fact they dont like to spend much they've put a leash on MU.

Imagine someone like Roman Abramovich owning MU (which he actually tried to do before buying Chelsea). If that had happened MU would go on a spending spree every year the way PSG did this year.

So in some weird twisted way the horrible ownership of the Glazers benefit the PL.

^ yeah we have to gratefull for their "horrible" ownership. i always thougtht that MU were over exagerating their losses due to how they alwasy post record revenue and get immense sponship deals. but all the credit goes to Sir Alex. he has produced sooo many great talents and remained competitve even with the pea-sized budget compared to CFC, Man city adn PSG, but when he does leave i feel so very sorry for his replacement, becasue they will be givin the impossible task of maininting the greatness and working under tight budget.
