I do think they very well may "do a Liverpool" but finish 3rd rather than 2nd. If they don't finish in the top 4 with that squad and 1 game a week for most of the season then Van Gaal should resign and never show his face again.

This article suggests Ozil's struggles are because of his role out wide. But he's only been playing out wide this season (and he's allowed to move into central positions). Ozil played in the middle last season and has struggled all year, all of 2014 that is. In fact, it's highly possible that his poor form, and poor work-rate in general, in the middle is the reason for Wenger to shift him out wide.
