Imagine if you told us before the season started that in early November we'd be miles ahead of United and Spuds and fairly comfortably ahead of Arse as well. I truly can't determine who's worse between United and Spuds. I suppose it's probably United because they look like they don't have a clue what they're doing going forward.

Left the pub before the Son incident so can't comment on that but Spurs are fucked the spark has gone and they will go back to where they belong mid table no marks. Such a dreadful game although to be honest I only had half an eye on it.

VAR is clearly broken in the EPL

it never is this fucked up in the Bundesliga and Serie A, the two main other leagues I watch

it is a combination of HORRID officials

and unclear rules that seeming change bloody weekly

plus why the hell do the on field refs never look at the pitchside monitor????

it is Gomes' right leg that is broken, and Aurier smashed into him there after Son tackled Gomes from behind

really hard to tell but Aurier MIGHT have been the one who actually broke his leg

I dislike that fucking guy so much.. He had like a couple of good weeks with Watford.. Otherwise, he's been crap, stiil he speaks to media like he was Guardiola's Löw's love child. I will get hated on for saying it, but Son's tackle was so not out of the ordinary

I have seen thousands like it, from behind

he was given the red card only after the ref saw that Gomes' leg was broken, and I really think it was Aurier who broke it

if a simple tackle (look at it again) from behind was enough to get a red, then there would be 5 or ten red cards a game

it was based off the outcome, and I really think it was Aurier who did the real damage OR it was just bad luck of Gomes getting his foot stuck in the turf, and if you watch it, both his feet slid after the tackle

if anyone deserves the red it is Aurier

he wilfully slammed into him after he was tackled and no longer had control of the ball

if you watch the video (I deleted it) you will see Gomes reacted (with huge agony) ONLY AFTER Aurier smashed into him
