Typical Newcastle. The highlight of their season was last week. Pardew has also got MOTM as well so he thinks he's safe for another year; just watch them piss away the rest of the season. Wankers.

The toast of Tyneside last week, probably being sent death threats as I type.

Not to a direct competitive rival he wouldn't.

Wow, the counter-arguments for this are the weakest I've come across in Talk Chelsea history, too easy..

But he didn't sign a contract with City.

He's with MLS.

I think he will be a liar if he doesn't serve a single day with the MLS team.

But they are not playing right now, so it's all good.

If he really wanted City, why didn't he just sign with them in the first place?

That way he wouldn't have obligation to NYCFC when the new season starts.

How many years he sign with NYCFC?

4?

It will be a travesty if he serves 0 of those at the club.

For now there's nothing going on, and pre-season ain't nothing.

It's better for NYCFC that Lampard is at City. So that when the season starts Lampard will go to the club in the best shape.

Still, for now, lamps hurting chelsea. legends don't do that.

well actually there is no point debating about this because we both know neither of us are going to change our views about this whole situation.

Lamps extending his loan would (and should) be seen as an attempt to harm Chelsea's title chances and that would be unforgivable. If that happens then I will not defend him when he gets flak, as he will be deserving of it.

Having said that, for now, I can just about restrain myself, though every time he scores a crucial goal for City it makes my skin crawl.

Mourinho is known for playing mind games. At least Mourinho had the decency to not join another English club. Lampard will never be the same in my eyes. Our all time top scorer, this is how he repays us. Absolute bellend.

Well if we hadn't come calling in 2013 he would have been man United coach now.

Mourinho was only here for just over 3 years though, a relatively short spell in his career. If he'd have joined United it would have been disappointing but the Lampard situation's completely different. Frank was here for 13 years - the vast majority of his career - and he was supposed to be proper Chels, one of us. Clearly not.

I still like Lampard. I'm not fickle.

And if he scores a few more vital goals during the run-in and City pip us to the title, then what? Seeing him celebrating with that shit talking cunt Pellegrini while lifting the trophy would be unbearable. We'd also be the laughing stock of world football. Not only for letting a sizable points gap slip, but also for letting one of our clubs biggest legends leave thinking he was past it and go to our biggest rival.

Like I said earlier, no chance at all Drogba or Terry would join a City, United, or Arsenal. I bet Ash had offers from other top sides in England but wouldn't do that to the fans.

And agreeing to move to City on loan isn't an attempt to harm Chelsea's title chances?
