Muzchap 8,966
Prices for footballers are inflated, I agree. However, everything goes up in this world of consumption. It´s called, " progress," whether we like it or not.And if you take into account compound inflation - it's all relative
Berke 58
So he's partly owned by other teams? He isn't owned by other teams, when he was signed by Napoli from Palermo, part of the transfer offer was for Palermo to receive 10% of Cavani's next transfer. Mouri_Matic 560
That would be awesome, so we don't have to pay 70M euros for a player that is only worth 25M.One of the top scorer in Europe will NEVER LEAVE FOR £25M, hell even Mario Gomez is worth £20m alone hahahahhahahahahhahahahahhaha Rmpr

We are not paying the price for the amount of trophies Cavani won, we are paying it for his ability and potential. And he still won a couple of Copa Italia and Italy super cup I think. The other guy just won everything last season.I am not saying that is right amount either, he is worth at least £40m and max is £50m, you saying him worth £25m is just ridiculous
Melanicus 5,208
We should decide, whether we will buy him or not as soon as possible. If yes, then offer what De Laurentiis wants. If not, say thank you and move on the next targets. Strike 7,492
In all fairness, once the buyout clause expires, nobody will pay 50mil for him. Maybe 30-35mil
gary gordon 1,777
It's the fact that people on here have gotten so use to seeing such a shitty striker for so long, Cavani looks like a god to them. Go back and look at Drogba's highlights at Marseille and compare them to Cavani. Drogba makes Cavani look like Crouch. DustinC 136
It's not over yet! It's just time to shit or get off the pot one might say. The club needs to make a firm decision and go with it in the next day or two. PSG I don't think will waste as much time. If they money is equal I think we are by far a superior choice to PSG. They have a good squad, I enjoy watching them and won't take anything away from what they've done. But Chelsea still has a more alluring group of players to play with and a more alluring league to play in.
Special Juan 28,141
PSG will give ADL exactly what he wants, I have a feeling this is the point where we exit this deal and move on. We might be attractive, but what is attractive to ADL is all the dosh, not short of it, but the lot. PSG will meet anything Napoli and Cavani want and get their man, no doubt about that.
