I know Barcelona had some pretty great Brazilian footballers recently, but you would have to think the fact his buddy/mentor Robinho was a Madrid guy would weigh more heavy on him.

But there are some players who are just so good (like once or twice in a generation of players) that you simply have to go for regardless of the existing squad - and I believe Neymar and Hazard to be tactically flexible enough, since they are so intelligent! Here's hoping he does a Robinho with Barca and signs with us

Barcelona's vice-president of football is having a meeting with Santos' president since 4pm (it is now 7:30pm). It is rumoured that this will be it, he will either go now or the negociations are over until January (where he will be able to sign for free).

Santos want 30mi and Barcelona only want to pay 25mi (at maximum). However, they might throw a 26.5mi or whatever, so Santos can say they 'won' the negociation (because we know how egos behave).

UPDATE: Barcelona have offered a two leg friendly to complement the 25mi euros and Santos seemed to have reacted absurdly positive about it. Globo saying it is pratically a done deal and they have created a timeline in their website, with live updates to try to be the first to announce it (just like SkySports do on transfer deadline day)!
