This might or might not affect your drive for further success. Not everyone can be like Ferguson. We will see how things pan out.

Try being happy - you never know, could end up somewhere really great! My comment was aimed at explaining that at Real Madrid Jose looked very old and was almost approaching a Wenger grey!Few weeks with Chelsea and he looks younger, happier and in a much better place! I don't think he has lost his drive, my personal opinion is that it's hidden now behind a friendly facade, I'm sure there will be abrasive moments this season though I still think he will create that siege mentality. And he needs a CL with a 3rd different club - so he will be pushing hard for that

It looks like real madrid sucked out his passion.

Half full or half empty?
Fernando 6,149
How do you look at the glass, in general? Half full or half empty? What does this got to do with anything? You just need to study the past and see that no manager can stay top for a long time. Why because they lose the first passion they once had! Look at some of the best coach of the 90s and see who is still top? Very few to none. What saf did is very hard as not many people can maintain that will and determination to push themselves for a new challenge every year.

Not a single match played and you think, he has lost the passion, desire! If that was the case, he would have taken a sabbatical. Gone on for a year and stayed out of the game completely but he didn't want to. He wanted to come back to Chelsea. What you may think as a loss of passion , might just be that the man is 50 now. Last time he came , he was 41 and wanted to conquer the world. Hence was cocky, now he has conquered the world and is now more humble and peaceful. That doesn't mean he has lost his desire, it just means he has grown up and mellowed down.

Whether you see the glass half full or half empty? I see it as half full, you seem to see it as half empty.
