Ramires

I'm a Ramires fan personally, he gets around, he really puts in a shift and he can score and when he does they're more often than not pretty important goals (Barca chip anyone?)

After seeing Matic play against Stoke i'm looking forward to seeing them both playing in the pivot with Matic's defensive solidity and Ramires energy and he may just get a licence to break forward on those lung busting runs which will be great for moving into the oppositions third, same as Matic's crisp passing

The question i'd like to put to you guys is, if Ramires didn't have so much stamina, that willingness to run and run and run would we really rate him? He gets a respectable amount of goals for a deeper lying MF (since he's in the pivot 95% of the time) and assists with 5 goals & 5 assists in 37 games

For Mourhinio's system he's ideal as he can run around just pressing for the whole game and still play an integral part of our system and you can't ignore his versatility, that's not what i'm questioning

TLDR: My question is, without his other worldly stamina and work ethic, would you rate Ramires?

I'd rate him significantly lower if he didn't have the stamina.. its his main attribute IMO. And it goes together with his pace.

Another player who is not as good as some people think he is. And people think he is a dead cert in the future Chelsea? Bull. Gundogan, Kroos.... That's the way to go. Midfield controllers, not headless chickens who can't pass a football and lack composure in the 18 yard box.

The problem isn't what we think but what mourinho and the hyrachy thinks. He's played more minutes and games than every other outfield player in our squad this season. Unfortunately that's a clear indication that jose rates him highly and sees him as a key player going forward.

Please Mo Salah, please be ready as soon as possible. Ramires on the right flank is just a disaster.

Don't think the issue was him being played on the right in the second half, it's just that his pace and directness which are crucial parts of his game are useless vs teams that get 10 players behind the ball.

I believe Ramiers should become a squad player next season, doesn't have the quality for a XI place in quality wining team. He will never start in a team like Bayern, Barca or Real. Don't get me wrong his a good player and his versatility and stamina will perfectly suit him as a good squad/rotation type player.

Dire tonight, but Ramires is the player who gives his absolute all and an extra 20% on top. You can't be mad at him for that.

Terry gives his all. Hazard gives his all. Lamps gives his all. Willian gives his all.

Just because Ramires defining virtue is his ability to run all day doesn't mean you can't be mad at hime for his more often that not shit technique. Take a few 8 year olds off their Ritalin and they'd run all day, but it doesn't mean they should play in midfield for us.
