Mr Lover Lover 18
yeah very good. personally i would like to see fernandinho replace paulinhoanyway i think oscar will normally start when fitI think Paulinho serves his purpose well in the team and was one of the better players at the confed cup. From what I've seen from Fernandinho so far he has alot more work to do before and get a call up in the team and then he can worry about displacing Paulinho
The Skipper 20,609
Surprisingly created our best chances yesterday. Had a pretty decent game, and on another day he could've easily grabbed an assist or two.
Sheva. 5,373
His first touch is disturbing. Very good player in almost every aspect, but there aren't many top midfielders with this kind of inconsistent first touch.
Phil Driver 503
Back in the deeper role now ,he would have dealt with Barkley yesterday much better than we did and driven him away from our goal with his ability to intercept and counter . He was looking very good in that role considering it was early days and when he wins the ball he is positive and our counter attacks are much quicker, this was obviously lacking yesterday and we were back to slow, slow and another negative outcome as result of that. Like it or not Mikel pretty much had him under control for almost the whole game.

Then we'd be depending on some DM to provide the *energy*... Just imagine...Lampard would prob decide to retire in Jan...
