he will shake Sarri's hand, have a quick chat in italian and wish him goodluck, like the gentleman Conte is. I thank Conte for his service, eventough we finished 5th last season and won the FA Cup, he won 2 trophies in 2 seasons, very respectable cv if you ask me, turned a 10th place team into Champions while taking the Premier League by storm in his 1st season, changed things around with a 3 man defense and his energy on the sidelines was great. Isn't it insane that for once we'll have to thank De Laurentiis for playing hardball. No way we would’ve gotten Jorginho if he bended over for City’s offer.

Think we're one central midfielder and one top centre forward away from challenging for the title again. Maybe a left back, too, depending on what Sarri thinks about Marcos Alonso and Emerson. And how fast he'll implement his ideas to the players because the new football Chelsea is going to be playing is totally different from what they've been playing for the last years.

Also hope we ditch the Europa League and give time to bench and youth players there. We've seen in Conte's first season what preparing a game for a full week means and Sarri will need every available day at least in the first three or four months until the team gels.

On Higuain rumours - think we will get him and one of Morata/Batshuayi goes. All three are too similar, no way they'll all be kept, whereas Giroud is a bit different as a centre forward and will offer other alternatives, too. Plus there were strong rumours last summer of him going to Napoli so I think Sarri likes him.
