As a Juve fan who've seen both Conte and Allegri up close, I'd take Massimo over Antonio here in a heart beat (though I would be a bit sad to see him leave Juve we're he's doing so well).

Can you tell us something more about him or his "style" ? :)

In brief (sorry, a bit busy, atm), Conte is a tactical genius. He'll come up with a system that will get the squad playing at a higher level than it actually is. But his man-management is sometimes questionable and he lacks pragmatism and a plan B.

Allegri on the other hand gets the team playing very consistently and knows how to get the most out of every player. He's also tactically very flexible and knows how to adjust to each opposition. He also has more experience and an incredible record in Europe.

Maybe... But conte built that team...Didn't see allegri building a good team...

Apart from the CBs and Buffon, Allegri has basically had to rebuild the entire team since Conte left, especially this year after the departure of Pirlo, Tevez and Vidal.

He's also altered a lot in Juve's system.

How Juve play? Attacking, more defensive?

However they need to play. Most of the times in the Serie A Juve are faced with 10 men behind the ball and they know how to break it down. But they can easily transition to a system where they close all gaps and play on the counter as they did against City at the Ettihad.

He plays the "dominated Serie A and took them to the UCL final by playing very entertaining football" style.

To be honest, not that impressive to dominate Serie A when you have by far the most expensive team with by far the best players.

Having a flexible manager would be so refreshing!

Couldn't the same argument be made for Guardiola, since (aside from Real Madrid) he had by far the best players with Barça and Bayern?

It could be made and I feel the same about his time at Bayern. Not impressed with what he did there at all, really. Took a stunningly brilliant team in a weak league and kept them great. No real challenge.

A lot don't like it but they are just being biased. He really is a talented manager. Sometime he doesn't know when to stop attacking but that is what a lot of people want, no?

Not me... I want balance

It was claimed in Italy on Thursay that his replacement will be Juve boss Allegri, and that the 48-year-old has agreed a four-year deal worth £5.3million a year to join Chelsea next season.

closest advisers insisted: “That is not true. He is only an option.”
