The only thing that worries me about Simeone is his forward recruitment, unless I'm missing someone Greizman is the only real success story, the fact he signed Torres and tried to resign Falcao worries me somewhat, and his recent comments re Torres sounds similar to the constant excuses some people made for him while he was here.

Other than that this news excites me greatly, to compete with Pep and potentially José we need top brass and Diego is exactly that, plus I love the way he sets up his team, its like us under José the first time, solid defense with a lot of heart and brutally effective footy.

If he comes and makes a decent transfer window, we will be back at the right end in no time.

If he does come to the Bridge, I hope he insists on a large transfer kitty to allow him to shape the squad the way he wants it to be as a pre-requisite.

The accountants in the Board can fuck off this summer!

For me Simeone is like Mourinho 2003-2007 (with Porto and Chelsea). He maybe plays more defensively style of football but he never parks the bus and never looks for a draw against big teams. He always tries to win.

Does that mean we can go back to ruining football?

Doesn't sound like Mourinho 2003/2007.

The info about Simeone comes from ex-director of Marca. Him https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eduardo_Inda . And I asked a friend and he told he is reliable.

Then everyone has stolen this info and you have this even in English Express or The Sun as a done deal.

But for me nothing is done yet. IMO all 4 options are viable Simeone, Sampaoli, Conte and Allegri. Each week there's a tipping point and one looks the most likely but everything seems open.
