@Special Juanthis is what I’m speaking about. This new Chelsea fans so brainwashed that they would like to see such a players like Anthony Gordon in our club.

Ever watched Chelsea play ever felt the atmosphere more than a couple of times? Ever felt the mood change with managers in the stadium? The 'new' fans you talk about are keyboard warriors like yourself who dont watch football just look at stats...

Joao Felix/Trade deal?

So as you would have heard about yesterday, Benfica want to bring Felix back to the club this summer.

At the moment, they are trying to loan him without any option or obligation to sell. Chelsea ideally want to sell and are keeping the door open to other suitors coming in.

A dry loan deal is not fully being ruled out at Chelsea but this obviously does not help them unless Benfica take on all of his wages during the loan spell.

SPTC sources have heard that Chelsea are considering going back to Benfica and speaking about a potential trade deal for one of Antonio Silva or Tomas Araujo to arrive at Chelsea as part of an unofficial swap deal.

We’ve heard that Chelsea REALLY want at least one new centre back to bring to the CWC. This does not yet mean the Jarrad Branthwaite deal or other interests such as Marc Guehi is dead though. Although so far, Everton are desperately trying to keep Branthwaite and are trying to persuade him to stay for another season.

Its funny how someone was pointing out on twitter that if you look at his stats from last season in the league (and take his name out), no club would pay 100 million for that.

6 goals, 5 assists in the league.

Sami Mokbel from the BBC confirming our interest in Kudus

Plettenberg is also saying we are really pushing for Ekitike but Liverpool are also there

On this one occasion, I hope Liverpool get him.

Don't see how getting Ekitike helps us at all.  3 young strikers on the books and Palmer to score 20+ next season?

Its a shame that Brentford striker chose United, he would have been a useful option, PL proven.

I'm not sold on Ekitike either, he looks like just a slightly polished version of Jackson to me.

If we are spunking that sort of money I would rather it goes on the left winger we are hunting for

it was 6 and 6 (in 1900 minutes)

PLUS

he had 14 goals, 10 asissts overall in 3300 minutes

also

a £67.5m base transfer fee plus £8.4 to £16.8m in potential add-ons is hardly an outrageous price for a 24yo truly world class winger

how much Real Madrid do you watch?

I watch a lot, and he is deffo a world class winger

the last pure winger we had at his level or above was Hazard

before that none for ages

It's a buyers market. I am not sure Real will be able to get this sort of fee. Utd are after PL players and won't be able to do this after the Brentford guy and Cuhna. City don't need him, Dippers are after Wirtz. We already have a ton of AM's and aren't going to smash the eage structure even if we laid out the fee. PSG don't need him either. Bayern for me is the only possibility but the also don't really need him.

For me, this is just Real trying to flog a player through the media.

It’s clear that our club will try to look like the smartest, most clever guys in the room by getting Gittens for £30m instead of going and getting Rodrygo or Williams for twice the price.

Salary on signing is the biggest factor.added to what we have coming through. Big salaries bind clubs more than transfer fees.

True. And that’s clearly why we haven’t just gone out and bought a couple of top players. If guys like Gyokeres or Osimhen or Nico Williams would accept wages in the area of £120-150k they’d probably already be Chelsea players even with a £75m transfer fee. But these guys are all asking for twice that much per week at least.

So we will instead be forced to continue gambling on all these signings in hopes we strike gold again.
