Just get Madueke out this club and away from the squad ASAP

Don't get the Madueke hate on here. He's our first choice right winger - he's direct, only behind Doku in take-ons, has consistently improved over two years. We will be weakening the squad by letting him go, especially with no replacement in line.

There are other names on the wishlist to replace Noni Madueke:

1. Alejandro Garnacho - Man United
2. Malick Fofana - Lyon
3. Chelsea are monitoring Ethan Nwaneri’s situation - Arsenal
4. Big admirers of Morgan Rogers - Aston Villa

Lot of people seem to think Fofana is going to become a top player in the future. So imagine if we instead go ad sign Garnacho 🤢🤢🤢

Which in addition to him not being good enough for us, would have the knock on effect of handing United a bunch of money to upgrade their squad.

1 - Big no

2 - Project youngster. Will cost 50m +

3 - Another project

4 - Quoted 100m. No chance even though he's good

That Elanga price is crazy but I think Newcastle were starting to get a bit desperate after repeatedly missing out on other targets. I think he’s a pace merchant who had one breakout season excelling in a counter attacking style. I don’t really see any special attributes with him at all.

As for Noni going for a similar price, yes, that would be ideal. But at this point I just want to sell him before Arse change their mind and go for someone better. If that’s £40-45m with some add ons on top then fine.

Why should the club accept a low-ball offer for a player who's good and is attracting interest?

I don’t see any club coming in for Noni at £50m+.

Nobody other than a PL team has that sort of money to spend on him and I highly doubt Noni would agree to go to a club that’s a big step down in terms of profile like a Forest or Villa.

So it feels like either he goes to Arse or stays. And I’d personally rather get a slightly compromised price and replace him with an upgrade than risk Arse walking away.

There is no replacement in line. Makes less sense to sell for lower price when almost all reported replacements (Garnacho, Fofana, Rogers) are looking more expensive

Not that I'm a fan of Garnacho, but the only way he gets out of United is if they lower their asking price.

Napoli's gone for Noa Lang, so that's 1 less option for Garnacho.

I was sort of hoping that Forest would play hardball over Elanga and then Newcastle may join the bidding for Noni.

Noni would be in the same situation as alot of our players, moving to other clubs would be a step down, even though it would be a good fit for them.

I wouldn't be surprised if Noni's transfer fee (assuming Arsenal agree a fee for him) sort of sets the standard for Garnacho's asking price

Seems pointless - the effort to move out Madueke (after putting in 2.5 years into growing him + when he's approaching his prime years) and bringing in Garnacho/Nwaneri/Fofana and re-starting the process. We are only weakening the first team with this change. The common sense move would be to keep him unless Arsenal stump up 55-60m

I would not bring any player to replace madueke

estevao, neto, gittssen and in a emergency pedry would be enough

I imagine the club will lean towards replacing him with someone of similar price as we bought him for that they can repeat the story with - another buy and flip in 2-3 years, do a competent job but probably not set the world on fire, adapt and mature with us, build up their rep / brand a bit and then off they go for some more cashflow. Got to keep this model going of flipping players regularly to cover the huge shortfall from stadium revenues / commercial deals / lack of winning things or we will start to breach all of the spending rules everywhere.

the problem is that we will already have quenda next year we will have a big problem, if we buy another extreme in this market

Why is George being  discounted as a W/AM option?

If he went on loan i'd fully expect him to produce as much or more than most of the players we linked with now. But if we loan him out then he comes back into an even more flooded position group, plus in most cases loan outs end up being put up for sale when they return regardless of how they performed on loan.

Just keep him with us.

Based on recent games, I'd say Neto is. Madueke has been shoved to the left & looks lost most of the time. I think the supposed "dislike" is more frustration and his limited skill set.
