What would it even cost for PSG to sell Neymar? Feels extremely far fetched that we’d be able to afford him and Caicedo. And equally as far fetched that we’d pay his astronomical wages when we’ve just worked so hard to trim the wage bill.

As usual when Neymar rumors start up (which is literally every window) our name gets dropped simply because these journalists can’t make it make sense for any other club.

The rumor from earlier today that he’s keen to return to Barca seems closer to the reality than Chelsea.

I think it's clear that Boehly and Co. are dying for a marquee signing. It's just a matter of when rather than if.

If Nkunku is out for a long time we 100% NEED another goal scoring attacker. A RELIABLE goal scoring attacker. So Olise should be avoided since he’s fucking injured, too!

Our marquee attacking signing and the one I was most excited for injured before we kick a ball in the PL. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This was bound to happen even before we started the pre-season. Intense physical training, players wanting to show their best, playing pointless game on some potato field, it happened many times before, the only question was which of key players will be out for months, on the positive side, this time it's hopefully not career breaking one a'la CHO or RLC.

No imaginable way of seeing a silver lining here. If it is atleast a couple of months it means it is not just an isolated partial tear but a more complicated injury. No matter if we sign someone now or not, Nkunku is irreplaceable. He is the best in the world at what he does. Feels like another doomed season already. Can’t see us even coming close to top 4 now

Liverpool

West Ham

Luton Town

Forest

Bournemouth

Villa

Fulham

Burnley

These are the matches Nkunku will likely miss. The ones in bold are potential defeats. I'd say if we struggle with this than a lot needs to be said about Poch vs Nkunku being unavailable. Especially if we get Caicedo.

If it is at least a couple of months it means most likely more than 2 . He will also not be able to slot right in after not training with the team for months. Guess we will see but yet a complete tear and possible surgery has not been denied.

can’t say it is surprising tho. This is already Nkunkus 4th major injury in the last 3 years. He did his ecl before so now needs just an Acl to complete the Hattrick of ripping knee ligaments .
