Why the fuck was he sold in the first place? Same reason players like Mata, Lukaku, KdB, Schürrle etc. were sold and the reason is that Mourinho simply didn't fancy him that much. At the time it was a good idea to sell him and the fee was massive, and it's an equally good move to bring him back now. That's how I see it.
