For me, this is one of the key reasons this deal is taking a while. Juve thought they would get him to stay up until three weeks ago. Once Juve get a replacement, I can see this one moving. Bayern are an issue if they want him but I can see us out bidding and I am not sure he is as in love with Bayern as most people make out. In fact, every Dutch person I have met have hated German's more than most English people.

I'm usually quite lenient with decisions the club makes but if Callum goes especially before Pulisic and Werner this season can do one. Fernando 6,591
I'm not excited by Sterling. I feel the same way when we signed Lukaku. I don't have any big expectation. I think in our team he might go the level Werner. bigbluewillie

This is where we see if Todd is behind TT. If he's as good as he's meant to be (don't watch serie A) then just pay what they want and we have a CB for next 7 to 8 years Edited July 6, 2022 by Kong

PSG are probably offering Skriniar something lucrative and under the table (albeit similar to Hakimi). Rather pay over the odds for De Ligt than Kounde. You could get Bremer and Kounde for that price. It's obviously his leadership qualities that are the lure because he is not doing it for me. It was a terrible move to begin with, as Italian football isn't really made for the modern CB in today's game. Add the fact his first season was under Sarri and then Pirlo, its no surprise he didn't do well to begin with. Under Allegri, he did win Juve's player of the season last year. He has all the qualities to be an elite CB and if Tuchel can make Christensen look solid, I look forward to his work with De Ligt. Bremer is a classic last ditch tackler CB. Poor on the ball and plays in a counter attacking low block. These CB's won't get you far as we have seen with Zouma. DDA
