Our big problem with Nkunku & Jackson and why the Xavi deal is dragging on and on is that neither of them are the first choices of any of these clubs who are interested. Which kind of fucks us over and means that we may not be able to sign Xavi until deadline day well after the season starts.

Yes, the likes of Newcastle, Bayern, etc may fancy Nkunku or Jackson but only if they can’t land other players. These are fallback options.

The confusing part is that we’re apparently pushing through and advancing on Garnacho despite Jackson & Nkunku still being here but can’t finalize Xavi until they’re gone?

The numbers don't line up. There was talk of Fofana going to a team in France for £5m (a joke valuation either way). That fee is three times that.

Reason I dislike almost every transfer account on X.

The report was that the French club were looking to offer that amount (tho in euros) not that we were going to accept it.

Curious what is in Garnacho's head.. World Cup if after next season, he is far from established in the national team so he has to drop some shit on the floor to be considered. Is he very confident he will get all the minutes here to succeed? Last season he displayed the ugly(unprofessional) side of him when Amorim sidelined him, I wonder what will happen if the same occurs here, with the world cup coming shortly.

Fofana still worth 15M? Surprising yet good news.

Argentina like Uruguay..they don't care how their players behave.

Similar fee to what we got for Broja.i'd be happier with DDF out of those two deals.

I'm pretty sure Argentinian also care about playing time. I couldn't care less about his reputation in Argentina, I just wonder how he will react if he doesn't end up starting each game.

Meanwhile, Donnarumma announced his departure on IG..

Second paragraph is interesting, so is his whole departure. Where did it go south? One of the best keepers at one of the best teams, I didn't think few weeks ago he would reall go.

Well, hope you enjoyed your last game for PSG, Gigi. I did.

I would much rather Donnarumma goes to Citeh than United. It's just them switching from one great keeper to another, whereas Donnarumma to Man U is them replacing a shit keeper with a WC one.

Same. Plus, watching Donnarumma try to play at the edge of his box pinging balls around like Ederson could be pretty comical. Don’t think he’s a guaranteed success at City. Could see Pep getting annoyed if his distribution isn’t sharp enough.

🔵Lennon Miller has completed his move from Motherwell to Serie A side Udinese

The Scotland international has netted Motherwell a club record fee.

👀🫣is this the first Mark Walter transfer for Udinese Calcio....

Serie A seems to be the new home for Scots. McTominay's MVP season will probably do wonders for that.

Worried about this.

Might be okay with our opening fixtures this month, but once we start adding Champions league into the mix, I'm not sure how consistent we'll be in the backline. A lot depends on how the likes of Hato and Fofana can step up when needed.

If an extra CB is what Maresca wanted, and he isn't getting it, he should look at making amends with Veiga too.
