No idea what Bono is earning in Saudi, but he should be looked at. He would tick most boxes and isn't coming off a poor season.

Almada is a tidy player. Taken well to life in Europe & has been one of Argentina's star performers in WC qualifying.

I thought Almada was on loan at Lyon from his Brazilian club with a view to permanent deal (iirc)

He's got the tools to be a very nice attacking mid.

He was a record signing for Atlanta United. He came in with the hype that he would develop to a world class player. He was good, but never developed to the hype. Atlanta lost money because European clubs lost interest in him, that is why he was sold to his Brazilian club where he didn’t impress either. He hasn’t impressed at Lyon either. He wasn’t exactly a great teammate at Atlanta. They wanted to move him after two seasons.

Blueco licking their chops at a discounted price for Malick Fofana I’m sure

I would take a discount Malick Fofana over a big investment on Gittens. Save the big money for a player that is irresistible - Rogers, Xavi Simons, Barcola

Ah, you're correct. I'd imagine there was some agreement before all this went down.

Botafogo will be raking it in this summer (will soften the blow of the owner).

Seems like someone who thinks they're better than they actually are. 4 goals in ten games for Argentina is a decent return.

I'm sure a bigger European side will have a look at him for a cut price fee, as he does have the talent. His attitude might be a different story, though.

Wonder when we’re going to finally start hearing about us being linked with a new LB as cover for Cucu. Feels like we pretty badly need one. Maresca even mentioned it in remarks yesterday. Playing Gusto there isn’t going to cut it. Or will we just bring Renato Veiga back in the fold?

Because as of now Cucu is one of those players in our team where if he gets a long term injury it really fucks us.

Manchester United have communicated a price of £70million to Alejandro Garnacho's suitors. Chelsea hold an interest.

🤣🤣

In a world where PSG signed Kvicha for £59m and Doue for £42m, we are looking to pay £55m for Jamie Gittens and are interested in Garnacho who is going to cost more.

I wouldn't say it is a priority and think bringing Veiga into the fold is a solid idea. He seemed like a well built defender + composed on the ball.

A right-sided CB signing + Colwill/Veiga at LCB with Veiga providing cover for LB sounds good to me.

Don't worry, we still have the ever-reliable Chilwell on the books, I hear he's a decent LB.   He also won a trophy with Palace last season 😆

Not sure there will be a discount unless there isn't much of a market for him. The transfer speculation around Fofana suggests that there will be interest.

Played about 10 games for them and managed to get a league goal as well.

Don't think he'll be playing for Chelsea anytime soon but he's on the books

Don't forget he won a trophy

We will have to loan and part pay Chilly's wages til he retires. We gave him a new contract in 2023 that lasts til 2027, in what was a remarkably foolish decision... No doubt pushed for by Frank Lampard, even though Chilly had injury ridden seasons until then.

His career is over he's just winding it down getting all the cash he can on the way out, no point for him to move and slash his wages. There's no comeback story here.
