Indeed. If that's the case, much of the business would be less crazy than originally thought.
I still think the over-relying on data analysis in a game like football--even AM football which is not free flowing already makes it very clear--will take a toll, but the squad size and the bias towards younger players (also a bit overcooked) make a bit more sense.

Atletico didn't want to sign the deal though as they were hoping we agreed to pay them an inflated fee for Samu to cover the deal. 

Not sure what the owners were supposed to do, they accepted Villa's original bid (close to 50 million) and Gallagher rejected.  They then accepted Atletico's bid and Atletico decided to do medical and then not proceed.  The only thing I see for Gallagher is a late transfer window deal with Spurs as Ange was keen on him for a squad role and they'll offer a low ball amount just to see how desperate we are.

This is about the way this has panned out, this bloke is the club captain FFS, he adores the club yet is being treat like a piece of meat. None of this is on Connor, it's on the club and owners, simple as that and let me tell if you half the cunts who are remaining here or we buy in the future had half the passion he had then we are on to something. He may not be some peoples cup of tea or the best in the world but when he shoves that shirt on you get 100% commitment and graft, he'd die for the badge, some would piss on it

Or maybe Enzo has seen enough and told the club that Disaster and Badiashile aren't what he requires and they should shift them. 

From where I am sitting, I will offer my services to drive Disaster to wherever is required just give me the destination and pick up time.

Bayern have pulled out of the Tah deal. He would be available for under 25m euros and at relatively modest wages. He would instantly be our best CB and cost less than any of the average goalies we regularly sign. Not sure he would like to join but even if so, our owners would never do such a sensible deal sadly .
