Lol Gusto has not played a single PL game yet. a fit RJ is still the best fullback in the world

Still the drop off isnt as big as having finished Azpi around. We have our positions covered A LOT better than the last few seasons.

I am against the Tyler Adams buy.

I think it is a marketing buy, just like Pulisic was.

Thar said,  I am not going to lose my mond over it.

If he was a creative hybrid CMF/AMF like Gabri Viega, then sure, no problems (if a low price) but he is not that type if player.

Maybe it is but a 20m + reasonable wages Marketing buy . So if the board really sees any commercial benefit of a player who costs peanuts and does not demand playing time, I am actually all for it. However, if it means no proper quality DM being bought then to hell with tiny Ty.

Adams isn't a marketing buy. Poch apparently wants PL experience to bring off the bench vs 18-19 year olds with hardly any top flight experience.

Adams has a mighty 24 PL games experience. Even Caicedo has more

Look, I do not want to get bogged down over CBs. We have not even sold Trevoh and CuCu, which my entire post was predicated upon.

I MUCH more am concerned over DMF, probably CF plus RW and creative AMF too.

Kudus plays everywhere up front, which is why, again, I posted the reply (if we bought him he frees up a slot as he adresses both AMF and RW and he even can play SS and CF.

We apparently are trying to scupper Brightons deal with him atm.

We need to close out Caicedo asap!

It's getting ridiculous.

At CF, just sort the Juve swap deal for Rom plus cash.

Yes, the low cost makes it not so so bad.

Do you think that Adams really may end up the only DMF type we buy?

As in Adams will be the buy that replaces a failed Caicedo attempt?

I will lose it then.

Every credible jounalist said that Adams and Caicedo are 2 completely seperate deals, so no way Adams would be our only DM buy

I really hope not. The board would be taking the piss if so. Seriously Poch would rightly feel kidded.
but If the board sell it right, promise to sign quality DM in Jan, Poch might still grudgingly swallow his tongue but surely the relationship would be strained.

Nkunku was going to be such a blessing and was the best thing to happen for Mudryk. Takes the pressure right off of him and allowed us to continue to be patient with him.

If it’s true that he’s out long term that pressure and scoring/assisting burned returns. He’ll have to be at his sharpest right away to pick up the slack.
