I am beginning to think Kudus is a more important target than Caicedo because we need goals more than we need Caicedo IMO, an athletic, boundless-energy, ball winning DM partnering Enzo is what we need and Caicedo would be the perfect option but there are others that would be more than enough to get us top 4 IMO, but we are still potentially light on goals which Kudus can fix (Jackson, Mudryk, Nkunku and Kudus if you imagine they fulfil their potential then it is not just top 4 but title contention for years). In addition to Caicedo, you will need at least 1 more elite DM if you want to competitive anyone . If you don't want to, you will play with Santos and Casadei, who are talented players, but you can't oppose KDB , Fernandes , Guimaraes , Odeegard with them . We've seen our reasonably quality yet young players shitting their pants in CL games or getting carded like rookies by more experienced players. One of the biggest clubs in world football and we appear to be trying to scrape the bottom of the barrel all over the place to find anyone who will sponsor us. 🤦♂️ Feels like there’s something not quite right going on specifically on the incoming business side of the club. We can sell players just brilliantly but suddenly struggle to buy them. Caicedo I at least understand since Brighton are an absolute bastard to deal with.
