Asensio is similar, looked very promising when he first appeared in RM but at the age of 26 he is on same level. Nero

He was the best attacker during our best part of the season then after that made crucial impacts against Villa, Spurs and Palmerias before being crocked for the season. He was also 3rd ITL on big chances created and key passes per 90. OneMoSalah

My lasting memory of him last season was game after game of him being unable to get past anyone and Chelsea fans almost begging for him not to play because he was so poor. I mean I'll grant he's yet to hit the level of his promise as a kid but finishing aside he was fine when he played and the metrics showed that. He was unfairly dropped after one so so game vs United days after tearing Juve a new one. Pulsic has been the one who's truly been poor for two years yet he's given leeway after leeway because of a purple patch in what was a semi pre season. robsblubot
MoroccanBlue 5,392
So so is generous. He was an abomination against United and was rightfully dropped. Missed like 2-3 open chances.

Pizy 19,014
With almost every top quality option off the table now I wonder if we should take a look at Alexander Isak? Versatile forward who is a proper footballer and not a traditional #9. Can score, dribble, receive the ball well with excellent first touch. Probably wouldn’t cost a bomb. Or did he not have a great season? Feels like there was a lot of hype last summer but not so much this one. Remember Arse fans being desperate for him. Last time I checked, he has a high release clause (£75m~). There are better options for less, or someone like Osimhen would only cost slightly more. Blue Armour 4,561
PSG have reached an agreement for Hugo Ekitike, so that's that apparently. Under Micheal Emanelo we used to make signings like that. Vesper

Scored only 6 league goals after scoring 17 the season before. But he’s just 22 and hasn’t been injured. He did look useful at the euros
