So, you're saying you would want another inconsistent attacker?

Why would a club buy him now when they can get him for free in the summer?

And didn't he try to demand HUGE wages from Barcelona before this?

I’d absolutely take him on a cheap deal now or free in the summer. His pace alone will mean he’s a massive upgrade on Ziyech and he can’t be worse than CHO in current form.

I just don’t really see us buying another wide attacker as feasible right now since we’re stacked in that area. If we can bin a couple in the summer I’d have him here.

Dembele has never played wing back and probably does not have the discipline for that role so I don't see any sense in signing him unless we will sell some wingers in return. Most of our attackers do not get enough game time anyway.

Fun fact to lighten the mood is that Dembele cost Barca more than Lukaku cost us and now they are losing him for naught despite  him being only 24.

Dembele cost around £55m MORE (t-fee and add-ons) in todays pounds, LOLOL

Lukaku was £95.7m (as we got £1.8m back in a good faith fee from previous deal) so £96.83m today with 6 months inflation

Dembele was £135.5m in fees and add-ons, which is now (crazy inflation over past 4.5 years) £151.88m in today's quid!!!

Just get Dest, ffs. Loan or permanent.

this seems to me to be the most viable option, as he is semi ambipedal (per presenters on La Liga TV on multiple occasions, and also via my own eyes), and can play both sides for fullback

I am just gutted if Theo renews with AC Milan (and it is 97% plus done, ffs, until 2026 at triple his current salary)

I know I am a whingey bint about him (and also, until he went to PSG, Hakimi) but FFS, wingbacks are so damn key for us

The figures of the renewal of Theo Hernández

The aforementioned Italian media, which stands out for its information on the Rossoneri team, reports that the left back will receive 4.5 million euros per season (his current record is 1.5 million euros per year) and will extend his bond in San Siro until June 30, 2026. A shield that will keep away all the teams that have shown interest in it in recent months.

Mauricio Pochettino’s PSG and Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea are the two teams that have shown the most interest in recent months for Theo Hernández, who was interested in making a leap in quality, but who has made the decision to stay due to the relevance that he has in the AC Milan project and for the growth of the team, which is fighting for the Serie A title with Inter Milan.

The renewal will close the exit doors to another club in the short term, unless an offer of more than 100 million euros arrives. Or the player himself makes the decision to ask for his departure in the coming years.

FFS!

he NEW pay rate is only £72K PW!!!!

we could have BLOWN that away easily
