Remember all the weeks and weeks of trolling and banter from the Leverkusen admin last summer during the Havertz saga? Christ, I hope we’re not about to start that bs again with BVB and Haaland. Wish they’d just put us out of our misery now and state definitively, 100% that he’s going nowhere no matter what we may offer. Maybe even hear it from the man himself. 

A whole window of grasping at hope only to come up empty at the deadline will be awful.

Plus, there’s still the possibility that most people haven’t really been thinking about which is the Man City situation. Everyone has kind of just assumed that they’ll try for Kane but what happens if they come in and offer BVB £150m before we do? Kane didn’t seem too eager to move when asked about Nuno coming in. And Levy will be a nightmare to negotiate with.

Levy will price Kane out and he's only got himself to blame signing that big deal knowing the formers reputation, he can't claim to be blindsided like Modric was.

He punches the ball back into the danger areas, his positioning has not always been the best. He is a capable goal keeper but like I said if there was a choice to bin him for a sure generational talent like Donnurama I would not think twice. Think of that season we could have binned Cech for Courtois as an example.

If the right attacker isn't available, I think we'll look to use our budget in other areas of the team, probably a centre back, centre mid and wing back.

I think given the price of Haaland it's one or the other, we won't be buying him and strengthening other areas. Or we end up settling on an alternative attacker but the options for this are extremely risky in my opinion and most will still command big fees which are quite frankly unjustified.

unless Vlahovic can be had for a fair price, then, after Håland, nothing much interests me, as DCL is too expensive, same for a couple others

the rest are big gambles or not good enough

unless we try and make a move for Mbappe (IF we fail on Håland, obviously, as we certainly cannot buy them both, lol)

we are insane if we bail out Barca by going for the 31yo-this-coming-season Griezmann, who is on a crazy salary (seen so many different quotes, from £500K PW all the way up to £750K PW)

I doubt we will get Eric, just too many issues imo. You have Dortmund playing hard ball eventhough they know he will go for not even half that next summer, then you have his father that somehow believes he is entitled to millions, then you have Raiola who will demand all sorts of shit of us on top huge fee for himself, then you have his wages etc. Screams difficult.
