Quite ironic KDB and Salah being brought up given they were let go due to the same lack of patience being shown to our current young crop.

Quite ironic how you talk about lack of patience with youngsters when we wasted years of our time with hacks like Oscar, plenty talents like James, CHO, Gilmour or Tomori who should be given time to develop I'll give you that but Mason Mount isn't one of them.

Confirmed:  Ulreich before HSV change

Sven Ulreich was number two at FC Bayern for five years. Now he wants to play regularly again and is apparently moving to the second division.

Chelsea scouts have watched Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey

https://www.thechelseachronicle.com/transfer-news/report-chelsea-scouts-have-watched-atletico-madrid-midfielder-thomas-partey/

Chelsea may still look to strengthen in the midfield before the transfer window shuts, with a new report suggesting the club are weighing up the decision to make a fresh move for that area of the pitch.

According to the Telegraph, the Blues are considering whether or not they should swoop for a defensive midfielder that can sit in front of the back four.

It is claimed that West Ham’s Declan Rice has been a priority target for manager Frank Lampard, but the London rivals are reluctant to lose the 21-year-old.

The report does also name Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey and explained that Chelsea scouts have been watching him in recent months.

His contract at Spanish club Atletico currently includes a £45million release clause and that’s proven to be too expensive for Arsenal, who are interested in the 27-year-old’s signature.

The Telegraph’s report explains that Chelsea’s priority as it stands is to offload some more players from the squad, but doesn’t rule out the possibility of trying to strengthen in the midfield.

Partey, 27, is a no-nonsense defensive midfielder that looks like he would be a perfect fit for the style of Premier League football and he’s been a brilliant performer for Atletico in recent years.

The Ghana international is an ever-present in the centre of the park where he can break up play and is a real powerhouse, as well as being neat in possession and aware of his surroundings.

Chelsea’s transfer window has been exceptional so far and so many top-class players have arrived through the doors at Stamford Bridge, but Partey for £45million would be the icing on the cake.

he’s more of a box to box player and not a true dm so he wouldn’t really solve our problems...

Has played as the lone DM. Remember him against Liverpool earlier this year in which he was excellent

Fair enough you are right it is boring, it's just that I hate the idea that the more playing time you get the better you will become especially after already been accosted to regular first team player for over a year and no improvement. If CHO gets a full season as a starter be it here or another place he will shine.

Back to the topic, would love Partey but unsure if we can pull this off so late in the window, I highly doubt we sell either of Jorginho, Ruben, Kante or Bakayoko, the article makes a point about offloading them but the most I see is loaning a couple more.

If Partey signs we'll have to ask a player use to playing in a 2 man midfield for counter attacking sides to playing in a 3 man midfield for possession based sides.

Sound familiar?

Nonetheless, a small upgrade in the position with lesser tendency to do a seek-and-destroy job in midfield

What does him having talent have to do with being nominated undeservingly? I'm not biased I like CHO but I also recognize him being nominated after the year he had is beyond a joke and more so while Havertz wasn't nominated even thought he finished 3rd last edition and scored 20 goals this season for Leverkusen.

Obviously I don't want someone with his talent to leave the club, he may problems with his attitude but I recognize his talent is there, just like I recognize Mount is a hard worker with very little talent. The fact someone like CHO might leave before a limited player like Mount just because he doesn't work as much in training is beyond nonsense.

Your sad obsession with me is as bad as you calling for a moderator to take measures because I said Lampard shouldn't let Mount take a penalty because he will miss, ironically 5 minutes later he ended up missing but of course that was trolling and not some obvious assessment that a player who was detrimental to us not winning the match would try to make amends for his shit mistakes and thus putting more pressure on his shoulders would likely end up missing the penalty.

Stop being a snowflake and pretend like I insult or hate Mount as a person, obviously my bashing are related to him as a player nothing else, the way you get triggered around me about Mount one would have you believe he is putting Messi like performances and I'm slating him for no reason when the sad reality is isn't even good enough to tie Oscar's shoes. I'm a Chelsea fan first and foremost, If I think a player is fairly detrimental to stopping my club to further evolving as a team I will call him out, not everyone on here is Mount FC simple as that. As a matter of fact CHO in the last 2 games did more than Mount did in all his matches this season.

I find it absolutely hilarious and somewhat embarrassing and sad how only you and 2-3 other posters on this forum managed to call me a troll for not rating Mount yet somehow managed to think I was serious about Chilwell friend thing which was supposed to be a half arsed banter to begin with. I'm a member on rivals forum redcafe and arsenal mania to discuss transfers or banter and none had any problems with it even when I took shots and digs at their club but when I go on a forum for my favorite club, I see this communist attitude, it's no wonder the forum only has about 100 active members on it with 25% of them thinking this is their safe space and hide from what 90% of the entire fanbase think about Mount for example. If the moderators think I deserve ban for this, go ahead I certainly ain't losing sleep over it if it makes guys like Tomo feel better at night reading the forum while keep living his bubble about Mount.

Why do you think Mount is bad?

I am confused with this notion. It is obvious that Mount is really2 good, other than Spurs he was excellent pretty much all the other game

He doesn't excel in any part of the game, his basics are inconsistent, against Barnsley he had an already made goal from Havertz pass yet completely fluffed it, against Tottenham had one of the easiest passes to Werner and passes it to opponent. Fair play to him for shooting from distance, taking the risk and starting our comeback against WBA but that was really one of the only useful things he did in that match and if we decide to talk stone cold facts that keeper should've stopped it all day long. He reminds me so much of Oscar but at least the Brazilian was better at passing and pressing.

Another thing that bothers me is when he has a semi decent match, right after it you find his defenders trying to say Mount again shut the haters up, possibly the cringiest thing I've seen, not after 2-3 good game right after a semi decent one.

I don't really rate Tammy either but at least he comes up with useful passes, flicks and especially goals which is all you can ask from him, also he isn't a disputable starter if he plays bad he can easily be on bench but with Mount you don't have much goal threat, you don't have consistent passing, plays no matter how bad he was the last match, he presses good sometimes but that's about it.

Maybe I'm harsh I know but I probably wouldn't pay attention to it as much if Frank played players based on merit instead of having his favorites, people who say he doesn't are taking the piss honesty. He does give chances here or there but the moment someone plays bad it's likely he switches it up, can't say the same about Mount and somewhat Christensen although the later was dropped a few times last season.

I am pretty sure Partey and Kante partnership would work better than Kante and Rice partnership because Partey plays way more forward passes than Rice does. He gives more creativity than Rice
