I think sending Jorginho to Arse is very dangerous. I think he could be very good if they partner him properly in midfield. He's not the pure DM they need, but he could still do a great job for that team.

Very idiotic if we let him go there unless we get Rice or someone even better.

In the event that the Rice transfer is impossible to do, I'd like us to have a look at Partey from Atleti. He was linked to Arsenal all summer which suggests he's open to moving and that they're open to selling him.

I think he fits the profile of what we're looking for in midfield. He would be an ideal partner to Kanté. Offers more protection than Jorginho/Kovacic and can actually pick up a pass. We could play them in a 2 and still look solid defensively. His release clause is at 50m euros.

Age could be an issue though. He's 27 so maybe the club would not be keen on paying so much for a player with low resale value.
