A player liking another player's post right after moving, whats the point? I'm pretty sure he would love to be here, the problem is dealing with the club this late in the transfer period they might struggle to replace him.

Players like stuff like that on Instagram all the time, don't read to much into it, also we have no idea if he would love to be here or not tbh we chelsea fans just assume every one wants to be here lol

You might be right and I'm slightly off but can't help it, the guy is a genuine talent, him coming here would improve us instantly.

They didn't refuse to sell, he was never on the club's radar. Mendy was always first choice and been scouted by Lollichon since December 2018.

Don't think Martinez to Chelsea was even a rumor at any point and let me tell you, there were a lot of rumors regarding the GK signing this summer. It was only some individual fan hopes, just like Zakaria etc.

1. We don't know they did.

2. If we did i'm glad they said no.

3. Genuinely don't get the agg of players that gave us their peak years semi retiring at Arsenal, it only further serves to demonstrate our superiority (especially when said player is pushed out by world class talent as was the case with Cech and now Willian).

100%. Or selling Loftus-Cheek full out. When Havertz gets up to speed in the 10 role and Mount keeps earning his spot in the team Ruben wont play. He will get less time than Ross.

Barkley is at least pretty damned useful when we rotate for non-PL matches so I'd 100% keep him over RLC who isn't offering much at all now. Ideally we'd move both on since Billy will be back at some point.

Kante, rice, kova, Billy, mount, kai, Barkley/rlc. Next year get Conor in.

As for Barkley vs RLC, very confused. RLC has something our mid does not have, physicality. But he is not going to get that confidence back until he actually plays. So probably loan him this season and hope he gets his game back.
