Looking at our squad (players with numbers) I think 3 players are extra. One LB, one CB and one midfielder.

My prediction is that Alonso, Rudiger and RLC will leave. Probably all on loans.

According to Romano, Conte wants Alonso over Emerson and he knows that we have to get rid of one LB so he is waiting end of the window to take Alonso even tho we would prefer to sell/loan Emerson.

Barkley is over RLC in packing order right now and many PL teams would like to take Ruben.

Rudiger should also have a lot of suitors.

Baxter was our number 2 GK tonight and with Mendy here I still think there is a chance that Kepa rethinks his status and leave on loan.

AC Milan Looking For Chelsea To Lower Tiemoue Bakayoko Demands

https://insidefutbol.com/2020/09/24/ac-milan-looking-for-chelsea-to-lower-tiemoue-bakayoko-demands/473799/

AC Milan are still keen on signing French midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Chelsea, but want the Blues to reduce their asking price of €30m.

The 26-year-old has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in the ongoing transfer window, with AC Milan keen to land him.

Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with Bakayoko, but the midfielder has his heart set on returning to the Rossoneri, having spent the 2018/19 season on loan at the Italian Serie A outfit.

The Frenchman is even prepared to take a pay cut to join the club, but talks between the two sides have failed to make progress and have now stopped.

AC Milan stand willing to sign Bakayoko however but, according to Italian outlet Tutto Mercato, want Chelsea to lower their demands.

Chelsea make Kante decision

Chelsea have made the decision to put midfield star N'Golo Kante on the transfer list in an attempt to fund a move for long-term target Declan Rice.

That is according to transfer expert Ian McGarry, as per the Daily Express, who says Chelsea are wanting to offload Kante as a way that could raise funds to make a move for West Ham United ace Rice.

Rice, who started his youth career at Stamford Bridge, has been heavily linked with a move to West London over the last few months, with Lampard keen to add the England international to his ranks.

West Ham value Rice at £73million, meaning Chelsea are only too well aware that they will have to offload players in an effort to convince him to swap the London Stadium for Stamford Bridge.

Blues set Emerson price

Having added Leicester City and England left-back Ben Chilwell to their ranks during this summer's transfer window, Chelsea are keen to cut their cloth as far as their left-back options are concerned.

The Blues are ready to offload Italian Emerson Palmieri, with both Marcos Alonso and Chilwell now ahead of him in the pecking order.

The 26-year-old is now thought to be attracting the interest of Juventus, with manager Andrea Pirlo, who recently succeeded former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri in Turin, looking to strengthen the club's left-back options.

And according to a report by Sport Witness, Chelsea will allow the defender to leave ahead of the October 5 deadline if they can secure €25million for his services.

£73m for Rice is madness

Bayern Munich revises offer to David Alaba
Like sands through an hourglass, these are the days of Bayern Munich’s contract negotiations with David Alaba.

https://www.bavarianfootballworks.com/2020/9/23/21452249/bayern-munich-david-alaba-lucas-hernandez-niklas-sule-alphonso-davies-thomas-muller-lewandowski

Per a report from Sport Bild, Bayern Munich has revised its offer to club stalwart David Alaba. Previously, Bayern Munich had offered the 28-year-old Austrian star a four-year contract, but the club has now allegedly added a fifth-year to its proposal.

Could that fifth-year help convince Alaba to make a concession on his salary demands? The financial discussions have definitely caused the most turbulence between the negotiating parties over the past few months. Everything from Uli Hoeness calling a Pini Zahavi a “piranha” over rumors that the agent wants €20 million in fees from this deal to Alaba’s own alleged €20 million demand for a salary have caused this negotiation to take some odd turns.

Sport Bild detailed how discussions have progressed over the past few days, including Bayern Munich’s reluctance to increase its financial offer to Alaba:

Rummenigge and Zahavi have been in constant contact to get the defensive chief’s contract extension. FC Bayern does not want to increase the salary offer so as not to destroy the team structure. It should be around eleven million base salary and up to six million bonuses.

As noted above, Bayern Munich offered Alaba an incentive-laden deal with an €11 million salary with potential for the player to earn up to €6 million in bonuses. Regardless, the latest Sport Bild report also states that Alaba “wants to stay in Munich and is hoping for an agreement.”

Stay tuned.

Bayern Munich players 'confident of Callum Hudson-Odoi arrival'

https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/chelsea/transfer-talk/news/bayern-players-confident-of-hudson-odoi-arrival_415612.html

Members of the Bayern Munich squad are reportedly expecting Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi to move to the Allianz Arena.

The England international was handed a start on Wednesday evening as Chelsea thrashed Barnsley by a 6-0 scoreline in the EFL Cup third round.

However, outings in the first XI have been a rarity for the academy graduate over the past 12 months, leading to suggestions that he may be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge.

According to The Telegraph, several players in the Bayern squad feel that the 19-year-old will make the switch to the Bundesliga in the coming weeks.

Frank Lampard may be more willing to allow Hudson-Odoi to go out on loan, rather than give the green light to a sale.

It's very hard to sympathize with Rice even if he was a world class talent, why would you sign a 6 year contract just to make it harder for others to sign you.

I think he signed the new contract when WH were going crazy signing all those "big name" players and brought Pellegrini in. Back when people thought WH were finally going to make a big step up and compete for a Europa League place. Then it all blew up as we've now seen.

He probably thought they were a club on the up so comitted to the project. Now they're probably the club in the biggest mess in England.
