Lets assume that Havertz is completely paid for already

and also posit the fact that that I am one of the most demanding and aggressive posters on here when it comes to transfers

but that list would cost around £235m in additional spending (not counting the £175m or so already spent), if we got Oblak

(and this not even including the massive salaries for all these players)

I cannot see us selling (unless we sell Kante as well as the actual dregs) £235m worth this window

it simply cannot be Oblak

and TBH, £108-110m just in fees, plus a £370K PW salary for a GK is not worth it, unless we are talking the ghost of a a 24yo................

The fact we are building for the future is what makes the Silva deal appealing, adding a bit of experience (who while isn't there prime self still has a lot to offer) to a young core is known to work. We got Eto'o for a year and Hazard himself said (paraphrasing) playing with him was a key part of his development.

Hopefully Silva has a similar impact on the young guns in our backline.

I can't find anything on Silva speaking english, so I guess he can't speak it just like other Brazilians. That is why french speaking players like Zouma and Azpi can help him and even on the pitch, they can understand each other perfectly

I really like TA too. However, with Harvetz we already need to shift Barkley, Drinky and Baka as an absolute minimum from CM. If you include Ampadu as a DMF (as I do) then you're looking at needing to loan him and Billy too (both these players need minutes at this moment in time) as we have Kante and Jorgi in their position while Kova can play there as well. 

Tbh, I do think we could do with another No.6 but I reckon that is lower down the priority list and Mount is going to be tried there this season anyway.

If Sarr comes in, I reckon he goes straight into the first team as 1) he is a highly rated CB, he is not someone you loan. 2 ) We need a left footed CB and he would be the only one on our books. 

Rice as you say will likely be next season. As for GK, I am expecting a free GK as Kepa cost £141m and we are stuck with him. No way do we shell out serious dollar on another unless we can shift Kepa permanently.
